Get rid of the bulltrue medal. For some odd reason, it’s broken in Reach.
Call me crazy, but when I get a bulltrue medal I’m not supposed to die. Because that means I killed the person while they were still lunging at me. Yet, whenever I play the living dead playlist, it never fails that I’ll die and get a bulltrue medal.
If there’s no fix for this, why not just get rid of it. It’s almost pointless now to me, and it’s frustrating knowing I killed someone mid lunge, and I still died. This never happened in H3 and it pisses me off.
I’m not trying to be a troll, but I enjoy the living dead playlist and would be able to enjoy it so much more if someone actually died when I shot them mid lunge.
So, am I crazy? Or can someone explain why I die while at the same time getting a bulltrue medal?
You are not crazy, but it is a trifle compared to other issues in Reach as of yet.
It’s Bungies solution to the lag in Halo 3. In halo 3 a sword vs shotgun would be a lag-fest, and a coin toss to see who won. Their solution was to kill both players in certain situations. Amazing solution right?

your death did not come till after you fired the bullet its not broken it works just fine

That’s exactly the problem. My death came AFTER the death of my opponent (which is where my bullet went). See what I mean? How can he kill me if he’s dead, and all he has is a melee weapon?
Your bullet hit him right as he hit you milliseconds between would’t matter if I was running at you with a sword and you shot me I would still fall into you

Except it’s more like a three second gap not miliseconds.

You’d ‘fall into me’. Your dead body wouldnt be stabbing me with a sword though… Idk, maybe I’m not explaining it right. It just really frustrates me when I get a bulltrue and die at the same time lol.
