I’m generally having a pretty good time, but there are some things I would like to see.
Battle Rifle: I’m sorry, but BR sucks. I don’t feel like it shoots fast enough or zooms far enough. The bots kill me every time I use it. Sidekick performs way better. It should be closer to H2 or at least 5.
Commando: Feels good at mid range. Fires too slow for close, and kicks too hard for long. It seems to kick even harder ADS. It really doesn’t replace DMR too well. I think either add DMR and leave Commando how it is, or lower Commando recoil ADS and give 5 more bullets.
XP and Challenges: I feel the challenges give good xp, but are too easy. I did em all even capstone, in like 3 hours. I don’t want them to take all week, but how is back smack one opponent challenging? Maybe make it back smack, I don’t know, 5 or even 10. Just increase em all slightly like that. Also, what do I do once my challenges are done? There are no other xp sources, so no more grind. Maybe have matches award 25 xp, and then 25 bonus for a victory. It’s not an obscene amount, but we have a reason to play. Also, commendations that award items and big xp would be cool.
Prosthetics: So, prosthetics are cool. The arm section having full, half arm, and hand is fantastic. However, why don’t the legs do that? Some people only are missing their lower leg or foot. Or even just the toes and front half of foot, like myself. Could you add stuff like that? Also, different styles would be cool.
Customization: I like the armor coatings. Really, some look very nice. But, I want to change their colors. The scorpion punch coating, for example. I want to color the red arm, let’s say, green. Then make the main section white. It’s my armor skin, I should be able to color it how I want. Nothing says expressing yourself like bright pink camo. My idea mixes the classic Halo color system with your fairly creative and fun skins. Remember Halo 5 emblems? They have one default pattern, but you can change their primary, secondary, and background color if you want. Armor coatings could just be an emblem you wear.
Settings: As a disabled gamer, I really struggle to push down the stick to sprint. I usually end up dying because I have to take my other hand off the controller to help push it down. I’ve noticed that Battlefront 2 and the latest Battlefields added a double tap forward to sprint. Not only would it be easier for people like me to actually sprint, it could free up a button on the controller for other players.
And, that’s pretty much it. Thank you for allowing us to be involved in this small way. Getting to help make Halo better, even just a little, is basically a dream to me.
