…and it is a bright future indeed.
You’re running out of time to finish adapting, everybody!

If it only it was going to work like that.

I don’t see why it wouldn’t. As seen in the Damnation video, the player took some damage while locked and the meter depleted. It stands to reason that if the player’s AL meter is lower than the amount of damage absorbed, he should be popped out of his lock and take the rest of the damage as bleed-through damage. If the weapon used at the right time is powerful enough, I can definitely see more clips like this in the future.

Keep in mind the frosting effect is still in effect meaning the player is still invulnerable ever after coming out of Armour Lock, resulting in things like this not being possible, although, I wish it was gone.

The frosting effect builds over time, so depleting the meter before it has a chance to take full effect should get around that nicely.
Youtube was kind enough to provide this video. Shortly after the 5 minute mark, there are a couple of pop’n’lock tests to show that a partially held AL does not benefit from the frosting effect in most circumstances.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying it’s going to happen all the time. I’m just saying that it will be something that happens as a product of gameplay features, and not bad host.

Haha, so I see, don’t worry I wasn’t flat out saying it won’t exist, but it won’t be too common.

I’m glad we agree.
Once people realize what’s about to be done to AL, they will begin pouncing on the locker doing everything they can to avoid him getting that frost going. And many teabags will follow, lol.
Do you think 4 teammates standing over 1 locked opponent will be able to simultaneously beat him down once for the kill?

Now this is something I gotta try once I got my hands on the Armour Lock change gametype, yummy.
Lets say that the sniper shot took out ALs health, then there would still be fronsting after the sniper takes a fast second shot.
That’s how it’s going to work.
