I have had the oportunity to play Halo 4 in the past, and was wondering if anybody has some questions you need answered. I will not answer anything about spoilers in Campaign or Spartan Ops since it is against policy. I like 343 and I like the law so don’t even bother asking.

i’m playing online and haven’t been banned yet. if its a legit copy you’ll be fine
the blind side and solar visor. is anyone of those truly Red? i keep solar on ign seems red but on gamestop it seems orange red. and blindside seemed dark read. then on the waypoint trailer it seemed red purple. so can you clear this up?
Infinity Slayer. was it fun? did it feel like the ordinance drops/armor abilities were controlling the game more than the actual skill of shooting/map control/teamwork? Are the Multiplayer maps as good as halo 2/3? i hated the multiplayer maps in reach they were atrocious.

the pulse grenade from what i’ve seen seems to be pretty useless. i much prefer the frags or plasmas over it
the customizations are very in depth from what i’ve seen
haven’t tried forge yet but i could do that now for you if you want
> About armor abilities: are they better than Reach’s AA’s? I mean in terms of balanced gameplay.
Yes they are. None of them are overpowered. Even promethean vision which i thought would be overpowered. It only lasts about 2-3 seconds before the recharge
happybuzzsaw:
I feel it’s more like Halo 3 than Reach
Fbach:
In my opinion, the maps seem more or less very similar. They feel good and look good but they all feel in a way like the same map. Don’t know if that makes sense. The game is the most fast paced Halo game ever, so that could make it less enjoyable for some. Infinity SLayer is pretty fun once you get used to it.
Spartan Sparda:
They are better since they removed armor lock and balanced out Jetpack by giving it less height and air time.
VEF214:
The Forge maps are pretty small actually. I tried Ravine and Impact and Impact is only two asteroids of small size. It’s like a double edged sword. And pulse grenades aren’t that great.
Haste Avenger:
It’s a mix. Whenever you turn. it changes a bit in the hue aspect.
> did the campaign live up to your expectations or has it been overhyped?
I like this. I really enjoyed Campaign. It was extremely Graphically pleasing. There was great battle scenes and the different environments were great. Without getting into the story, I think it lies up to being a great Halo Game. Although there is a part at the last few minutes of the game in which I think is a little lame, but I will let p,layers decide. The only drawback for me is that it is two short. It took me like 5 hours to beat on Heroic.

Sweet. One last question. I saw a lot of players complaining about ordinances and loadouts, the general concern is that Halo 4 will be very COD-ish.
Did you feel like playing the same good old halo? Or is Halo 4 just CoD in space?
> What gametypes are available in Custom Games on disc?
4
All gametypes that have been released. They have variants for infinity slayer like SWAT and things like that. There are only a few gametypes, but it is satisfactory for now.
Could you clarify on which Prometheans use Promethean Vision? First I heard that the Lancers would use it. But now the interactive guide says that Battlewagon and Commander use it. Or do they all use it? If so, can they use another AA with it or is it random (like in Halo 3)?
If I download a Spartan Ops mission with a Gold account, I can play it offline any time even when I go back to Silver? Does Spartan Ops have checkpoints? Lives? How does it work? How many times can I die? As many as I’d like?
Do Covies use AAs? Do they need scripting to help them use it (i.e. Halo 2 Spec Ops elites, Arbiter on Sierra 117, Zealot on TotS) or do they do it by themselves (like Halo 3/ODST Brutes)? Is it limited to evasion (i.e. Reach Elites armor locking) or other things (i.e. player aiming crosshair at the enemy. This would cause Brute bodyguards in Halo 3 to deploy their regenerators)?

Feels like Halo squared. Does not feel like COD, that’s just the fanboys talking. I like the addition of ordinace because it gives more incentive to play well and get points. There is a difference in so many aspects that I don’t think it feels like COD at all
Weren’t we supposed to have 2 new vehicles in multiplayer? We’ve gotten like 4 new vehicles in campaign, but only one in multiplayer. Did they leave one out as a surprise (hopefully, but doubt it)?
