That is bad, and it’s happened to me before, but I get more disappointed when I go 39 kills and 5 deaths in a team slayer game and still lose.
I was in a game today and right off the bat one of my team mates quit. Soon there after another one did after getting 2 kills. So now I was left with my AFK team mate who was doing nothing but screaming into his mic. I ended up getting around 23 kills and went positive but lost. sigh
Well at least it was an accident. Careless, unskilled, sure… I’ll give you that. But what I hate more is getting matched with people just there to either mess around, trashtalk their own team for no reason, or betray me. They are truly useless.

surprisingly in h2 and hr I usually get good team mates.
In h2 I got backpacked and in Hr I backpapck while my teammates hold thier own and stay positive.
In halo 3, every game was like this one for me. I had on game on halo 3 on midships remake, where someone had a score of -11 and went like 3 and 35

Halo 3 was terrible for finding decent teammates, and it was a bit more difficult to backpack for my team. In reach its easy to put a team on your back and lead them to victory, which happens to me all the time. TU update might change things though, teammates die faster than before.

lol I have to say that video was really quite funny… but yes I absolutely hate useless teammates, or teammates that drop out until you’re the only one left on your team.

A net of -2 is very welcome in TS, and would be a godsend in BTB. Wow, if ONE teammate went -21 and he/she was not a guest, that would just blow my mind.

Not a guest, for the record. Team Slayer on Asylum, 2 kills, 23 deaths. Alas, my backpack was not big enough, and we lost.
Edit: my memory served me incorrectly. 3 kills, 23 deaths. I also stumbled across this game while I was searching, but with guests that’s about par for the course.
No shame in that, it would take a un-human like backpack to savor that match.
I play BTB and was just in a match where a guy betrayed a teammate for the sniper rifle. I trolled him and got the sniper rifle the next time and after much of the match hemming and hawwing, I got him killed by the enemy team but he eventually betrayed me and I didnt get the option to boot. Seriously, -Yoink- bloom, -Yoink- grenades, fix the goddamned boot code for betrayal. Amusingly, while we were -Yoink- around, and another guy quit, our team won that assault match.
It was clearly an accident, don’t be such a troll. I have seen the same thing happen a dozen times. And -2? You consider that to be a horrible team mate? I am sure you have never gone -2. When every other game or so you get a team mate that goes -10 that’s normal. I’ll throw a pitty party for you when you get someone going -20 or more. To many people guise shameless self -Yoink- under the “Oh woe is me, I did awesome but then this inconvinetly happend. FML”
I usually search with 3-4 guys in 4v4s or 6-8 guys in 8v8s…
I had the unfortunate experience of searching in a party of 3 and getting this quality of random.
