I don’t know if anyone else shares my opinions, but after the ridiculousness move of not including all of the DLC in the Ultimate Edition, I believe that Halo 6 is going to be completely stripped down and entirely pay to win.
I was interested in getting Halo for PC and then I found out that paying for the Only option to pre-order DLC in HW2 didn’t get me all of the DLC, if that’s the case how can I have the slightest bit of trust that I’ll be able to play H6 without having massive pay walls to climb in order to do the things I’ll enjoy in the game. I’m fine with a $100 game if that’s what it needs to be, but in the name of the great journey I won’t accept a systematic scheme to try to block off parts of a game incrementally and screwing over people with very Blatant tricks, like labeling something as an Ultimate Edition that by definition is factually Not the Ultimate Edition.
many games do this. They release a version later with all the DLC for cheaper. This is not a scandal.
Look at it this way OP you basically got AtN for free with all the money you saved with the season pass/ultimate edition.
I understand both sides. It seems very crappy to squeeze the extra money out this soon from the people who paid 100$ for a copy. Actually, it is crappy. I understand that simply waiting can be a lot cheaper but they should of included this in the ultimate package to keep fans happy and buying more halo titles. At the same time the economy is disgusting and games cost more to make and to make money, these things happen. They can’t charge 120$ for the ultimate edition so they went 60$ standard and 100$ ultimate then the extra money to be made with this nightmare.
With the season pass priced the way it was, you were never going to get ATN included with it, and somehow this leads you to believe…Halo 6 will be entirely pay to win? What?
I don’t think he met entirely pay to win but like perhaps a quick profit type game. I hope not.
