Hi. This is a vent to 343. I play a lot of Halo Infinite. My Halo tracker stats put me around 200 hours. That’s, in all likelihood, in the top 2% of play time. I am not excellent but I can hang in there with good players and typically do well against lower ranks. I have spent money in the store. I genuinely enjoy the game, even with all the bugs, cheating, crashes, etc.
I play the game respectfully. I do not quit out of games unless my team has dropped a player. I do not intentionally betray, unless I am in a game with friends and the outcome has already been decided. Sometimes I will stay in a game that is 3v4 and just mess around, throwing grenades high in the sky and running to the middle of the map firing my weapon to be killed easily. I have been playing Halo since C.E., and as a dedicated fan and player. But without an explanation on this ban, I really see no reason why I will continue playing after it ends.
I created a support ticket after 12 hours. No response. I have considered creating an alt so I can hop back into ranked games, but something doesn’t feel right about that. All I would like is for someone at 343 to acknowledge this ban, how long it will last, and why it was implemented to begin with. Like I said, a ticket has been submitted. I would expect an automated response at the very least, but just crickets. The ban system is clearly flawed to begin with, but without someone contacting me I will just go play other games, and yes, I will threaten to be one that doesn’t come back, or at least not nearly as often.
