I just started reading about Halo Infinite. So apologies for my uninformed questions.
Is Infinite out yet ? Or is it out in 2020 ? Will it be only for Xbox One , cause I don’t have one
I will probably have to trade in my 360 unless they make Infinite backward compatible .
Infinite will be releasing holiday/late 2020 for the Xbox One, Project Scarlett (new Xbox), and PC.
PC, wow, I could do that for sure.
Playing Xbox one games on the 360 is called forwards compatibility, which isn’t a thing as far as Xbox is concerned. If you want to upgrade from the 360, I’d honestly suggest waiting for the Scarlet to come out, because I don’t think a One or One S even is worth it anymore at this point. If you must have an Xbox One, get the X, as it’s still really good.

Halo Infinite is coming out holiday 2020, we don’t have an exact date yet. It’s gonna be available for XB1, PC, and the next gen Xbox system which is launching alongside Infinite. It definitely won’t come out on 360.
For the best experience if you’ve held off the entire XB1 generation, you’ll probably want to hold off and buy a Scarlett and Infinite in late 2020 when they both launch. Sadly, I think your 360 is going to be worth more to you even just sentimentally than anyone will give you for trade credit for it by that time; They’ve become a dime a dozen due to the combination of them being older machines and most of the seriously great 360 games having made their way onto the Xbox One’s BC program.
PC is an option, but you’ll want to make sure you’ve got a powerful rig. If you’re comfortable in the PC gaming world and keep up with the technology, it’s an exciting way to play Halo (Master Chief Collection is coming to PC as well). If you’re a console gamer primarily and don’t want to become more involved in that world, I’d go for the Scarlett instead. Actual figures haven’t been released, but it’s likely to come in around the $500 mark, which is actually pretty reasonable compared to mid to high tier pre-built PC gaming rigs (building your own is better, but if you’re going for really high quality components, the cost will still be pretty high, and if you’re not comfortable building your own, you probably shouldn’t attempt it without a friend with more experience).

You probably should of posted this in support but anyway, Halo infinite is coming out in probably 2020 and the game is going to be unique as it is gonna be for the xbox one and also for the PC and is going to try to be like the classic halo games, I hope this information helps.
