TLDR; infinite is bad in every way, fight me! to sum it up even more i wish infinite was just like halo wars 2 but in first person.
yeah infinite should be scrapped, why? well there’s the absolutely unfinished campaign. i don’t mean just cause it was missing basic features like coop and mission replay, im talking about the levels, art, enemies, vehicles, weapons, and story!
from the slipspace demo they made it look like we were gonna get a bunch of open environments, full of wild life, and changing weather and a world that just looks and feels alive. we got an open game but it’s very empty, no animals and it’s mostly just a forest with forerunner junk sticking out and just a day-night cycle, no changeing weather. this has to be the laziest halo ever made, like wtf are you serious!?!!
everything just looks so cheap from all the alien architectures looking plain and block, to the banished looking exactly like the covenant from reach with a 5$ makeover. the banished had such an awesome look in halo wars 2 what the hell happened? dont give me some lore bs, i tell how bs the lore is!
the banished had fleets with completely revamped scarabs, blister backs, grunt goblins, and brute mechs!!! where was any of this in infinite!?!!?? all we got were the halo 3 vehicles with some cheap paint job and scrap metal glued on. i wished we got most of the old weapons too but what they did was worse.
did the banished lose all their guns and vehicles or what? the weapons in infinite are just like the art style, i was hoping for a full on armory of banished weapons, not just some homemade diy alien guns. the unsc seems to be missing some good weapons too like the spartan laser, the saw, magnum, smg, the smg alone probably wouldn’t be great but if they brought back dual wielding and couple more small guns it would be awesome! and what happened to all the prometheans?
honestly just what is the story with infinite, they find cortana just hanging out on this ring for some reason then infinity comes and traps her, then the banished show up and start attacking, then i remember the prometheans. where are they at, where are the guardians, wheres the warden? cortana was just left unguarded, alone? and that’s just the beginning, everything after make no sense.
SPOILERS: the banished free some alien that’s supposed to be immune to the halo array, was feared by the forerunners, and she has time travel powers i guess, where was any of this explained in the past games! the halo writers must be on something because infinite is just a whole n’other thing entirely.
i dont think i have to explain how bad the multiplayer is some of my points here can be applied there too.
