There is no hype for Halo 4. 343 needs to know that their videos do not hype someone enough to buy Halo 4 as much as I would buy Halo 3. You can do interviews and E3 gameplays, but please, thats not enough.
Would I buy an Xbox 360 because of Halo 4? No, because I haven’t been hyped enough to do so.

You posted the exact same thing in my thread, was it really necessary to create a new one?

I figured it would give more attention than just a simple post.
I never really see enough ads for games these days. I remember when I was still playing PS2 3-6 years ago. During that time I saw a game advertised every good once in a while. Now game ads are like TV unicorns most of the time. For an industry as big as it is games are pathetic at advertising on a media other than a computer or console. Sure like a month ago when I went to the movies there was a BTS Halo4 video in the pre movie showing but that was it. I’d never seen games in the pre mocie show nor have I since.
They don’t really need to sell the xbox, as long as they sell their game. I know I’m getting Halo 4, the gameplay and trailers I’ve seen have really convinced me to get it.

I know, but this is the face ill have when I get the game if this level of hype keeps constant “:|”
I would buy an xbox to get Halo 4 because it is going to be part of a trilogy series, but I already have an xbox so I wouldn’t need to buy another one.
im sure it’s still early they should have another trailer up their sleeves. But if/when they do show another trailer it need to be focused more on the main plot of the game.
They need to show a very big aspect of the story, we need a trailer that will tell everyone right this is it, this is master chiefs most big and deadly encounter yet. we dont need anymore videos on multiplayer, spartan op’s, weapons, behind the scenes etc.
Master chief has had VERY little spot light in this build up and has not felt like the main character at all, the spartan 4’s have been hogging the lime light.

I would, and yes, you would too. Don’t try to tell me you wouldn’t.
Dude. I’ve been saying that since they posted that terrible box art animation. Everything I’ve seen for this game lacks ‘soul’.
Here is my original post regarding the subject. I think I summed up what you’re feeling (or in this case, not feeling) regarding the trailers around the game.
> Why would I waste so much time and effort typing this message? Because, believe it or not, I care about Halo 4 and the final quality of the game. I want to be excited about it and I want to play it, a lot. So I am offering all of this, and more, at no charge. Direct feedback from a core customer and loyal fan. This is the type of thing you can’t buy through consumer research - so I strongly suggest you take the time to read it and pass it around the offices at 343. You’re welcome.

> Please take your heads out of the ground and change course before you completely destroy this legacy of games. That ‘animated box art’ video was so far down the wrong path its disturbing. I’m sure it was well intentioned but it was sub-par. The Halo team of old would have never considered releasing that underwhelming production to the public. Aside from lacking any content, depth or emotion you overlaid what sounds like cheesy 1990s arcade game music (think Mortal Kombat 2-3) and a tagline so generic it could have been on any scifi shooter that’s been released in the last 20 years ‘an ancient evil awakens. pre-order today!’. Come on guys…

> “There are those who said this day would never come. What have they to say now?” “This… is the way the world ends” “Finish the fight”… All incredible powerful closing tag lines.

> Everything that I’ve seen thus far lacks the soul, originality and creativity that has defined Halo and made it stand out among the countless other games. At this point it appears to be a desperate situation and I volunteer to come on as a consultant/adviser/director/etc at absolutely no charge to help salvage this before its destroyed.

> Stop making changes to ‘broaden the appeal’ of the game. Great products and companies aren’t built on broad appeal. If you want broad appeal you buy a ford focus or a chevy cruz. IF you want passion, excitement and greatness you buy a purpose build vehicle like a Porsche, Ferrari, etc. Once you water down something enough to have a broad appeal you end up with garbage.

> I will be purchasing the most expensive Halo 4 package available. Because of my loyalty and enjoyment of the previous installments in the series. NOTHING I have seen so far has gotten me remotely excited about this game. Yet, I am smack in the middle of your target market - this is a HUGE PROBLEM!
>
> I am pissed that by getting the limited edition I get special things unlocked early. The entire point of unlockables is to make the game more fun to play via ‘player investment’. I don’t want to ‘buy’ the unlocks, I want to earn them. This is stupid and contradicts Frankie’s argument about buying level 50s. You’re stripping away pieces of a critical game play element by doing that - and you’re doing it for your core fans (the ones who don’t blink at paying $100 for a game). Did you ever stop to think about asking the people who have bought legendary packs previously what types of extras they would love to see? You may be surprised, but it isn’t dumb costumes for their avatars and shortcuts to miss out on game play experience. Seriously, who dresses up their avatars anyway?

> I know that the level 50 discussion has been going around and around and you’re quite simply wrong. This is something that appealed to Halo’s core customers. Instead of stripping out a feature due to abuse and cheating, work harder to combat the cheating. Removing the incentive to play the game not only deters cheaters, it deters your core fans/customers from playing the game!

I posted this like 2 or 3 months ago. It’s essentially the exact same thread. People didn’t think it was relevant then, now there are like 5 threads made in the last 5 hours stating this same stuff.
Basically what I’m saying is stop making this thread, it’s getting annoying.

I don’t what your thread is about, but just like me he probably made a new thread because he wanted people to see his point.
IDK if your thread has 2 posts or 5 pages of posts but if the latter is true then yea i’m not gonna post in there and have it get buried and have only like 3 people see it. I’d rather make a new thread should i feel it needs more attention
