Now here’s the issue, I PAID to have advanced access to them, what the hell is the point of it without that? Why should everyone get access right away if others paid extra for that early access?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m fine with everyone getting them, but I want compensation. Some armor sets, extra EXP, a flaming helmet, something. It’s unfair to give everyone something for free right after others paid for that exact feature.

Look. You’ve had access to them for 24 days now, and we are getting access today… hopefully. After being grid locked at 70 for up to weeks for some. And you are complaining? You try being completely in able to level up. Then come back here and spout how unfair it is.
Like seriously mate, is a 24 day advance not enough? Do you want them to wait a year, maybe two before releasing it so you feel you have a significant advantage. Come on. Already kids at level 100+ and everyone that didnt buy their advantage is stuck at 70. You got what you paid for, quit the griping, or at least focus it on one of the other major issues with the game currently.
I feel they should have released them 1 a week or something. Limited Edition would still have all available while the non-limited would get a slow trickle.

You paid for all the other goodies that came with the LE. If you paid only for the early access, which you were given for almost a month, than that is just sad.

Key thing here is you PAYED to have ADVANCED acess. My very misinformed friend its been 24 days, soon to be 25. Were you expecting us to get the codes after YOU felt it was necassary for us to have them?
Regular players were to have access to specializations, two released a month for three months. The first two at release, the next two the month after ECT.
Now EVERYONE is getting ALL of them, I find this unfair. A 24 day advance is virtually nothing for a game.

I am fine with others getting them I do think that is fair, but to the people who did pay extra money for a version that has them included early, when suddenly everyone is getting them early, we should at least get something else to compensate for our LOSS.
You are gaining something, you are getting access to the next three months of your content after the first month. We LE owners on the other hand, are essentially being ripped off. We are losing three months of early access.

Uh no. We paid for the Limited Edition. Immediate access to all specializations was included in the LE bundle. We got immediate access to all specializations - exactly what we paid for. I for one put that to good use as I will hit 130 tomorrow.

You got just under a month advance of everyone. You made your own point. Quit whining.

MS is running a promotion for XBL rewards members for the month of Nov. If you play 35 hours of Halo 4 you get 100MS points, 70 hours 300MS points, 140 hours 600MS points. THERE IS YOUR COMPENSATION, too bad if you missed out. I’m not sure you can still sign up for it.

Then you shouldn’t have bought the LE. It was a rip off. That’s why I downgraded my preorder to standard. Withholding part of the game we paid full price for and then attempting to charge us for the rest is WRONG. Don’t get pissed at us because you caved and threw an extra 40 bucks at them.

I work two jobs and attend school, You really think I have 130 free hours? And that is NOT compensation, that is an Xbox Live Rewards bonus, not a LE bonus, also something ANYONE can get.
Tell me something, if you fellows had paid extra money for a feature nobody else was going to have full access to for three months, and then 24 days later they gave it to everyone, wouldn’t you want some kind of replacement feature?
It’s not like I’m saying I want nobody to have the Specializations, that is literally the opposite of what I want. What I want is SOMETHING to replace the early access I no longer have. An armor set, a gun skin. Hell I’d be happy with just an emblem.
Just something to show that 343 is acknowledging the fact they are making LE become pointless. They already went back on their work of early access to the first map pack.

Oh? You paid $100 for LE?
I paid $400 for the limited edition console - and that came with a standard edition copy of Halo 4 and no map pass. Please, tell me more about how it’s unfair without being able to use money as a reason. =]
I mean, here’s the thing. You paid for advanced access. Do you know what that means? You get all 8 early along with the map pass (worth 2000 Microsoft points), some helmets, and some emblems. People who played within the first 16 days of the game being out get the 8 specializations and some are locked at 70 (I have been since the 22nd) until receiving their code which people were thought to be getting on or around the 20th. Of course, those are for the people to whom the offer applies. I have friends in the UK who are going to be locked at 70 because the UK, along with the rest of Europe, don’t apply to that offer.
So I reiterate…tell me more about how it’s unfair to you.
