I think that we did not just watch a trailer for the next Halo game, I don’t even think it was a game. I think that it was quite simply a trailer for all Halo coming to Xbox One. Making the title make sense. Saying, “We’re gonna do some badass stuff with Halo this time around” basically.

I like this theory a LOT.

That’s exactly what I take the trailer to mean aswell.
Infact, that’s what I assumed the trailer/announcement to mean from the moment I saw it.
But then I started having doubts when everyone else seemed to think it was a trailer for a particular game, namely Halo 5.
I might be wrong but I’m thinking that we will see some kind of spin off or H2A in 2014, and then Halo 5 in 2015.
If it does turn out to be Halo 5, I really hope that the reduced development time does not effect the quality of the game.
I doubt the show is going to have 60fps and dedicated servers, but hey man that’s your theory.

We’ve gone from a trilogy to a saga because it’s the only way to give more story in-game.
We need more gameplay just so we can have a few more pieces of the puzzle in-game as opposed to having to use novels to tie in things throughout the major crescendos that would be H5 and H6.
I just want a confirmed title before anything else involving this game is released.
