I have a question

Are we going to see improvements to the story modes of these games? Multiplayer is a mess and is the focus atm but all four games have some big issues as they are now, problems are…

Checkpoints not saving.
Achievements not unlocking.
Sound problems in Halo ce.
Stats for all games not showing true stats, one example is I have collected all skulls on Halo 3 and most on Halo ce but my stats say I have only found 4 skulls across all four games.
Score mode is still broken, after completing Cairo station is says I finished with under 20 kills.
Coop in halo 3 is broken and runs in slow motion (not a problem on halo 1,2,4)

The last problem and by far the biggest is the frame rate issues on all four games, Halo 1-2 have to be played in classic mode to keep the game smooth and the aim responsive, Halo 3 runs great apart from the start of the Covenant stage where the game feels really bad and kind of ruins the start of one of my favourite levels. But thankfully it doesn’t stay like this long. And then we move onto Halo 4! This game for me is almost unplayable the choppy frame rate completely takes me out the game and most levels suffer from really bad stutter. It actually runs better on my 360. Ive finished Halo 1-3 on legendary but cant play Halo 4 for long before the performance puts me off and I just quit.

Any feedback on these issues would be great.

I’m experiencing these issues as well. Who knows when they’ll be fixed… They’re prioritizing Matchmaking and they seem to be struggling with that. Maybe in the next update at least some of these will be fixed?

Oh and kind of unrelated, but on the 360, Halo 4 had some REALLY bad lo-fi sounds during the cutscenes. Sounded absolutely horrible like it was recorded with an old cellphone. I know others experienced this as well, and I was wondering if this was addressed in the collection?

I hope they update the game with a 30fps option for the story mode to solve the frame rate issues like Naughty dog did with TLOU.

Hopefully they do fix it, but that would mean going through all 4 games and trying to focus in on the problems which would be a big task.
i think they will focus on MP then Halo 5 Beta and thats pretty much it, the Campaigns arent getting too much attention.
maybe they will release a giant -Yoink- patch and some of that stuff will be dealt with, but like they said with Halo MCC games will be the same as they were before

Same issues here.

Im sure adding a 30fps option in the menu would not require them to go through all four games and make radical changes, and the games (apart from Halo 3) all run worse than they originally did. A locked 30 fps is smoother than 30-60 fps.

Yeah i wasnt meaning the 30fps, but yes that is fully possible.
I havent noticed a drop in frames, everything looks great but will be different for everyone.

I really feel like the multiplayer is so much more broken then the campaign right now. Makes sense that that’s 343i’s priority

Yeah Your right, the only problem is there is hardly any reason to play multi yet with all the problems (like ranks being reset, uneven teams, game crashes), so Im waiting for things to be smoothed out. Also being a big story fan what with speed runs and score mode, that’s the only option to play right now. I just really hope story mode fixes are still in the works and don’t get forgotten about because of the multiplayer problems.
