I can guarantee at this point you all have answers to “fix” the percieved flaws in the game. But i can also guarantee that no matter what is done, your feelings towards the game will NOT change.
Halo 4 doesn’t feel like other Halo’s you’ve played before and thats simply because you cannot re-experience a said moment that you have had previously, whether the game be new or old. In other words, no “Halo” that you play will ever feel the same as the earlier ones, the awe and mystery with the game cannot be the same as you have already experienced the limit of your emotions.
You all feel like you need to blame something, 343, the game mechanics etc etc. But at the end of the day, it’ll change nothing. Your Halo experience is actually made by you and your expectations, that is it. So if you’re dissapointed, that’s mainly your fault and no one elses.

^^^ This has worked for every game thus far, it even made Reach tolerable.

Because De-Scoping was removed, and I can guarantee to you that this being brought back will fix all but several minor qualms I have with Halo 4.

Halo 2 was an upgrade
Halo 3 was an upgrade
Halo Reach was an upgrade (I dont care what people say, I rather enjoyed Reach)
Halo 4 has been great so far. Sure there are minor tiny quips I’d like to seem added /removed but I’m in no rush for them. I’m sure 343 is taking note to all is being said and all the numbers online and is making a balance to come out very soon.
again… this game is not even 2 weeks old give a rest complainers.
I’m pretty sure if they added in a local only search filter then my opinions towards the multiplayer will change.
and it’s funny you said that no new Halo will feel like the old Halos because as I said here, one of my main problems is that they borrowed too many set pieces from previous Halo games.

You’re essentially asking people to not be human or have emotions towards a franchise they love. -_-
While I agree that a lot of the angst towards Halo 4 may be generated by a nostalgic sense of past Halo games and a want to refill that, many of your so called “whiners” have some good points. To generalize them is being as ignorant as some of the more, let’s say, inflamed gamers.
