When you see the EOD, does it give you the Star wars episode III feel?
Not until you said that, but I do see a resemblance. Kinda’ reminds me of the stormtrooper helmet.
Halo reach yes, halo 3 not so much. Looks like an intimidating gas mask.

The main reason 3 and reach looked so different was the visors.
Yeah I can see a better resemblance there. I was more thinking Halo 3 EOD and stormtroopers, my bad; but I wouldn’t say there was a huge likeness.

Well not that much but the still have that intimidating appearances.
I think if the EOD armour was in white with the black visor, it would definitely fit better.

In Reach the visor was one simple line across the helmet that did look very similar to the storm trooper or clone trooper helmet, black visor helps.
Halo 3 and 4’s depiction of E.O.D. had separate Eye sockets that made in look like a intimidating bug-gas mask or something
I want my EOD in Halo 5!!!

Reach had the best eod helmet ever.
Looks more like a clone commando helmet, too lazy for a link. 
EOD always made me think of a sad Gorilla, but that is just me.
Oh, I miss the clones, I loved them so much.
