Now I’m thinking of expanding my Sangheili clan to Halo 2 PC. Is their online multiplayer still up? Also can Halo 2 PC run on Windows 7? If so can you tell me how?

As for running on Win7, well, it’s a hit or miss. Some copies of Win7 64-bit do work, and some don’t, from what I understand.

It runs just fine on my Windows 7 64 bit PC.

runs great on my windows 7 but it’s installing that’s a real problem
I had a problem when installing, a error message said
"LIVE Gaming for Windows failed to initialize."
To fix it I used this Tutorial

Also you may need to install the latest Windows LIVE. These were both issues I had but resolved pretty easily…

The most active servers usually have CTF on Coagulation.
I had issues starting H2V on Windows 7 until I did all of the Windows Updates.
Also, District (exclusive to H2V) has been just as popular as Coagulation lately, if not more so.
It’s online… sorta. Almost nobody plays. I would really like to play Halo 2 Vista online since I never got to experience Halo 2 multiplayer, but it’s intimidating. I tried once, but I was getting people who use those crazy button combo (BxR is it?) on me so I stopped rather than get a -30 spread.

There’s no rank or any stat tracking at all on Halo 2 Vista. XD
Honestly,I wouldn’t even try to spread a clan to halo 2 vista. I played it yesterday and there was, I think about 57 players world wide. Not worth the work.

Yeah I know, but it’s know fun being killed over and over again.
