One of my Ideas for in Halo 6: A side mode based on the Halo 5 mode ‘Breakout’. It could be an episodic successor to Spartan Ops in a way, it would follow a team of Breakout “All-Stars” who battle in arenas vs other teams. They would rise to the top of the leaderboard (like the one in Red vs Blue) and they would gain a popular following with civilians. Imagine having a “Fireteam Helix” poster on your wall as a kid. You’d wake up and watch it on TV like American Gladiator. I was inspired to write this by playing that Breakout map with the cheering crowd.
As to how the gameplay would function, it could use AI, but I don’t know.

It’s inventive, but it feels a bit niche to me. Could be very well suited to some sort of machinima series though

It doesnt seem to fit as a precessor of Spartan Ops,it sounds more like an fanfiction.

It’s not connected to the story. It would be an additional episodic mode, though.

I meant as gameplay (episosodes,no deeper connection to the campaign) precessor.I was completly aware that Crimson wont play a major role,as your OP mentioned another team.
