I don’t understand why this weapon would be so damn powerful and accurate.
It’s like an AR on steroids and as soon as you run into someone that has one it’s game over.
It’s too powerful because it kills you within 2 seconds.
And it’s too accurate because it has absolutely no bullet spread and barely any recoil.
A gun like this should recoil like crazy and have a wide bullet spread, and yet I’ve seen people kill other players from half way across some of the smaller maps with this thing.
least its not the handheld guass cannon
It does have spread, and seeing as how it is a power weapon, i’m not suprised it kills people quickly.

Well it is an ordnance drop weapon for a reason.

Power weapon or not, I don’t see how a SAW has more range than the assault rifle on burst…
Dude, it’s a power weapon that’s not even an instant kill.

Honestly, the saw has not been to much of a problem for me at that long a range. I don’t see how that works either, but if you need to burst to reach your target, and your on the other end, you should be able to find some cover at that long a range.
It’s funny because i think it’s underpowered. I always seem to die from it but once it’s in my hands players always run away

Nearly every single weapon kills in less than 2 seconds…
And the whole point of the SAW is to be powerful.
I think in terms of damage and range, it’s perfect for a power weapon. However, it has far too much ammo.

I disagree, if it was multiplayer only I’d say it needed more ammo, its not really a LMG if ammo was lowered
It’s a power weapon, like the shotgun. It’s supposed to do that. The SAW is not an Assault Rifle, that’s why it doesn’t appear as an option in Custom Loadouts.
The SAW is not overpowered; it just mows people down at close range - which is the point. Any of the loadout precision weapons will beat it at range. It also has a fairly long reload time.
I bet OP is one of these people I see just charging right up to someone who has a SAW, hoping to throw their AR and Body at him…Seriously, some people just run in, die, respawn, run in, die respawn…etc etc.
