I have a cool story, bro!

I was playing a game on Haven, the Incineration Cannon spawned as a random drop. I kill a guy, he spawns on the cannon, and then comes back to kill me while I’m one shot from the previous battle. He won that way.

Halo is so much fun, guys.

But yet you still play it…hmmm…

Apparently so is trolling the forums with the same old song and dance.

BTW - in old Halo you never killed someone just to have him respawn on the other side of the map right as the rockets respawn there and suddenly he has an advantage over you even though you just killed him.

Take a break if it upsets you that much.

Judging by his other posts he just can’t stop playing Regicide.

bro, that is a cool story

Dude, you’re the same old song and dance defending a broken mechanic.

It’s pure LUCK to have a RANDOM weapon drop on you. A static weapon spawn a smart and skilled player can control and lock out the WORSE player.

I got FOTUS for free.

Now that’s a cool story bro.

The mechanic works exactly as intended.

Tired of being “surprised” by “random” ordinance drops? There’s a loadout option for that…

Ah, that’s right.

And god forbid if he equipped the Engineer Specialization to remedy that…

This loadout option would have been a great custom loadout for the competitive custom game I was playing. But, oh, that’s missing. Another broke thing in this game. I couldn’t have used it if I tried.

Even if I knew where it was at, the enemy spawned there, I was one shot. Rush over, get domed by his DMR, or get blasted by the cannon. Or just cower in a corner while he eventually finds me with the god cannon.

Why are you trying to defend a game mechanic that doesn’t reward skill?

Thought post would be funny…OP just but thurt…boring…

You had a cannon. You either didn’t reload fast enough, or you made a critical mistake as a one shot.

While I don’t like the fact he respawned near you, Regicide/any FFA variant has that potential…

XD LOL YOU SUCK

No. The guy I just killed spawned on a cannon that just spawned also, while I was one shot.

It’s a completely terrible mechanic.

This was in customs!? Why the hell didn’t you fix this “random OD problem” beforehand?! You know you can do that…right? Doesn’t sound like a very “competitive” custom game with all those “luck-based” mechanics that “don’t reward skill” though…

I wasn’t leader, and sorry, I tried to place just a little TINY incremental amount of faith in the game ONE MORE TIME that it’d work logically and reward better players.

Even in a 3 person lobby, it couldn’t do it.

So I’ve completely made up my mind this game is only for kids who need their hand held.
