I’m a chronic reloader. There, it feels better now that I said it.
It never fails. Slayer, Warzone…hell even SWAT. I kill a Spartan, reload. I shoot at and miss a Spartan, reload. I shoot a Spartan and knock down his shields, reload.
Pistol, BR, AR…even power weapons.
There must be a way to break the cycle. Medication, training…support groups?
What I try to do to counter this is wait until my shields are fully charged before reloading. Way too many 1 shots stray in front of me when I’m reloading, only to 1 shot me instead. Like all addictions, easier said than done. Falling 1 shot short all the time doesn’t help mattress either.
It’s okay bruv… we can get through this together.

I have a problem reloading… every time i shoot i reload… unless i have missed a shot for a reason (BXB in H5)
I need a support group…
The only time I can consistently NOT reload manically is to consciously focus on it. I suppose it will come with practice.

trust me, i died so many times when reloading my gun cuz i reload all the time… I can control it to a certain extent now…
Haha I’ve recently tried to cut down on reloading so much. I kill a spartan, even with plenty of ammo left and reload then another Spartan gets the upper hand! I find this easier to practice in firefight. Let the whole magazine or whatever run out. Lol

Nobody is here. Reload. Switch weapon. Reload. Pick up a weapon and try not to reload it.

I think it stems from a fear of getting an enemy down to a one-shot and then auto-reloading. I can’t recall how many times this has happened.

Hahaha…I’m picturing all these Halo support groups. One for ragers, another for chronic teabaggers, there’s even a group for those mysterious players that always seem to run around on mongooses the whole game!

On the other hand I have so many last shot kills. So I do get carried away and forget my ammo sometimes.

I had to go check…I have 50 last shot kills. Not too bad I suppose

Your issue is almost every shooter gamer out there including me. That’s why a lot of people from CoD use the fast reload ability or perk

Strangely enough, it’s from a character in a survival series called “Deathlands” ( by James Axler). There was a list of quotes & that one stuck with me through the many years of FPS’s I played. (Think back to Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast, or Counterstrike Source). Yeah I’ve been chronic reloader for a while.
No one wants to hear the dreaded ‘Dead Man’s Click’ so chin up soldier, you’ve been trained well!
