I hate xbox live chatter

Holy -Yoink-,I just turned the voice back on in my xbox settings and made it through half a match before I quit as I would rather quit a bilion times then listen to the idiotic banter that makses up conversation over xbox live.At 36 Im an official cranky old man lol.

I’m sure you sounded just as lame back when MC Hammer was still popular.

MC Hammer isn’t popular anymore? I need new pants.

That’s why we only use party chat. At 33 I don’t care to listen to a bunch of kids chat.

I’m 23, if I’m in game chat I stay quiet unless for call outs. Most the time I just sit in a XBL party by myself.
I can Tolerate a lot of random banter but usually I just mute the one person. If it’s a whole lobby I go back to my lonely XBL party for peace and quiet.

Just use the mute option, generally if several people have their mics on blasting out ridiculous bs or music, I simply mute them and hope for a mute ban to be thrown on them.

You got a mute button, but don’t know how to use it.

i hate party chat!!

I’m 18 and I do this. I just can’t stand hearing little kids shouting in my ear. I don’t mind adults talking, but it’s rare to run into them.

Since the rise of party chat it seems that the only people who feel the need to make themselves heard to everyone in the party are the people who call everyone garbage because they keep getting killed or throw around racial slurs every two seconds. Or 9 year olds. Basically any and all people that give XBL a bad reputation.

Mute…

No need to mute when I can’t hear them to begin with.

Do you release what you jerks are doing muting ppl in lobby? The game is counting those mutes and then it bans players for no reason on the mic for days.

You simply could go into the menu and turn all chat off. Or you can join a XBL party and be alone and miserable.

However on my part if I get whining kids or idiots screaming in the mic its perfectly ok to mute/avoid/file complaint by that means.

Everyone isn’t like that.

What is so difficult about muting them?

Never said they were. Doesn’t mean I want to talk to them. We use party chat because we all know each other and BS about things completely unrelated to Halo or Xbox. No one wants to hear that. I have zero interest to talk to random people in a game and I really hate being told how to play.

Nothing but the Mute button can’t fix.

I use the mute button almost as much as my right trigger.
