Halo 4 plays better then halon 5.
I’ve been playing halo 4 and it just feels better then halo 5

Begone, peasant.

I don’t see how it does. Halo 5 has better movement, doesn’t have the gimmicky ordnance and such, has less (but still pretty significant) aim assist.

My real account is spartan sarge I got banned for commenting about quitting in breakout on my own post. I’ve been playing halo since h2
I’m saying halo 4 in mcc. I find my self relaying too much on clamper when I play the older games and it makes me realize how little skill is in halo 5

I would say that Halo 5’s core gameplay is much more solid, but Halo 4, admittedly, does feel like it still has more of an individual skill-gap. I don’t know what it is. Like, sprinting around at super-speed with dumb ordnance is really stupid, but it actually feels like there are people who are bad at Halo 4, whereas in Halo 5 everyone seems decent or better. I’m not sure what factors create this. Probably the bad spawn system, radar, and bullet magnetism if I had to guess.

I get what you are saying almost everyone is decent at the game the skill gap is almost none. Honestly halo 5 took some skill like jumping. H4 from 360 is admittedly a joke but mcc version plays so much like it’s counterparts that it’s good. It just feels in H5 anyone can pick it up and get used to it

Another factor could be a knowledge skill-gap - or lack of it. With Halo 5, practically every weapon is good at, really, any reasonable range, and grenades are nukes. It doesn’t take much knowledge to pick up the game and play, which can be both good and bad. I prefer a more niche weapon sandbox like Halo 1-3 (and somewhat 4), personally. The AR should be bad in 99% of situations.

The ar and storm rifle honestly shouldn’t be as good as they are but it is what it is.

I’m actually inclined to take his side. The vehicles handle a lot worse, ADS is highly intrusive (both the blocking of the FoV and the jarring animations), aiming in general has taken a turn for the worse and I don’t agree that it has better movement. Weapon balancing seems to have gotten slightly better and AA/BM seem to have been toned down a notch, but those very few improvements don’t outweigh the losses in my opinion. This is strictly referring to actual gameplay, across all modes - campaign, wargames, you name it - so I don’t factor in things such as loadouts, ordnance, etc.

Halo 5 plays better than Halo 4. This is all a matter of opinion.

However, H4 MCC plays miles better than H4 360.

What has that got to do with anything? I’m sure I’ve played way more halo than a lot of the kids on here. You can check my game history but that doesn’t include every single account I’ve made. I would be deeply appreciative if you would refrain from speaking. you arrogant -Yoink-

I haven’t played MCC H4, but comparing 360 H4 and H5, in my opinion H5 completely destroys H4 in every category except maybe the UI.

I played a game of H4 on the MCC not too long ago, it was big team legendary slayer, and my team was working really well together without even using mics, and holy -Yoink- was it ever fun

I just feel like the sensitivity in h5 is weird. But other than that id say its better

Ya. I actually tried to get ranked as a bronze just to see if it was possible, and I still placed as a gold. I was going like 0-20 some games haha it’s ridiculous. I don’t even know why they have those ranks.

I feel like Halo 4 would be a really great game if it had better game modes, weapons and Armor abilities.

It might be those things. (Particularly bullet magnetism)

It might also be that the Xbox One controller is much more precise and accurate in comparison to the 360 controller. That, coupled with the 60 FPS probably makes the game a lot easier.

Gotta disagree, OP. I tried playing H4 a while back after playing H5, and H4 felt just felt so horribly sluggish and slow. It was actually painful to play, which is a shame because I really liked H4. :frowning:

H2A ftw tho
