So I really really want to love Halo 5 but the more I play it the less I like it, now before you al start screaming “your just bad at the game” I would like to point out that I have never really had this with another Halo game to date and even if im playing good or bad it doesn’t usually effect my enjoyment that much.
So first I decided to play the campaign and I did a heroic run at launch to see the story and learn the gameplay again, then decided to go onto warzone and I have played about 5 games of warzone and I don’t really think it’s for me. The problem is when I started playing arena I soon found myself getting sick of the maps because visually a lot of them are very similar. now I know graphics aren’t everything but I just thought I would mention it. I have played 19 games I think and I am already sort of stuck for what to do.
in all the previous Halo games I have spent the first week playing none stop without any real sense of boredom, even Halo 4 I enjoyed enough to stick at but for some reason around 24 hours after I got Halo 5 I am already feeling sort of bored with it. I don’t know what has caused this but I am really disappointed because I was expecting to play and play and play this game.
I think the fact that forge was delayed didn’t help as I usually spend a good while playing with the sandbox and seeing everything in action.
Anyway has anyone else been feeling like this? and is there anything I can do to maybe light that spark again?
I dont have a problem with the game but the campaign could have been better. I mean, why do we play locke 9 times and the chief only 6 times?? I think we play halo for the chief and not the other way around.

I have been tired of multiplayer shooters for years now but usually Halo I can still play just fine without getting bored.
Maybe it’s just not for you bro. I love call of duty and hated advanced warfare. It was boring to me. But I like black ops 3. The only halo to bore me was ODST. I love halo 5 more than the rest! Sorry you feel that way though!
I do kinda get where you are coming from, there is a really limited scope with the multiplayer.
I still cant believe they didn’t launch with Big Team Battle. Big Team Battle allows for the most variety; play styles, vehicles, weapons etc.
Yeah Warzone is good, and I do like it, but having only Warzone and Arena (4v4) really limits the variety.
I imagine they will rectify this down the line, but its still a little sad. If the game had more MP modes, I would have zero complaints. Everything else in the game is awesome.

I guess so that kinda sucks, I think the gunplay is fantastic and I love the soundtrack and I enjoy a lot of the new sound effects but there is just something putting me off and I can’t really put my finger on it.
they will, like in every Halo, introduce more maps later down the road as well as more REQs to unlock. they’ve already stated they’re going to be adding a crap ton of unlockable REQ stuff and maps are just a given, they always give out more maps. if you’re bored now, fine no worries, but there is more to come
EDIT: also dont forget they’ve said more gametypes will be coming post launch as well

Absolutely nothing outside of Warzone for these kind of players which is shocking because it’s a a fairly large crowd. Going to be a long wait for Forge.

Forge is like a month away… Not really long… Just get Fallout 4 in the meanwhile. That way when you return in December you’ll have BTB, Forge, and more playlists.
