Coming from someome who did all weeklies for a season and who used countless swaps each week it’s not worth it. Spend your time, money and effort on another title. The challenges are designed to manipulate you into playing the game each week. They become a chore to do. Prentending they aren’t there doesn’t solve the problem. Infinite has been a total embarassment for the halo brand, I am really ashamed to be a halo fan now after this launch. Rid yourself of this toxicness and play other games that are more rewarding and that you can play at your leisure.

Exactly, a Batlle Pass should reward us for what we do, not force us to do things we don’t want to, such as using or BUYING challenge swaps. And having a fourth challenge slot locked behind a paywall is beyond insulting. A system designed primarily with monetization involved, and not enhancing the player experience.

Just skip them then if you don’t want to play them. That’s what I’m doing with this event. I unlocked the first two unlocks and that’s all I want. Now I’m playing what I want and having a blast.
The faster you stop worrying about cosmetics though, the easier it is just to enjoy the game itself.
There’s modes I enjoy for sure, but knowing there’s some stuff to be had puts the stuff at the top of my monkey collecting brain.

If that wasn’t bad enough you might even get a challenge that’s even worse than the last.
Ahree i haye the challenge system. I hate that if i go into a match and run up 30 kills with 2 deaths i dont level up at all unless i melee someone in the back. It is so annoying and does take the fun out of it. I am like you i would never ay a free for all, were is all the good stuff like assault. Even going to quick play its all team slayer and 1 flag, there is a whole slayer catagory why can’t there be a mix. So aggravating the way they have made this challenge system miserable

You should hate it. It’s awful.
Luckily, I think that’s one of the biggest things 343i has constantly heard from basically everyone since the game launched. A fix literally can’t come fast enough, but I think we can rest assured that they’re hammering away at it as a very high priority.
In the meantime, it’s a good idea not to subject yourself to the challenge system more than you think is worthwhile. I personally don’t worry at all about clearing my weeklies unless there’s a particularly juicy capstone reward on a given week. Granted, that’s become more frequent lately.

343: But don’t worry. If you don’t like the challenges you get swapped to, it will eventually swap back to the original challenge you hated in the first place after just a few swaps.
