I hate shatter. Anyone else?

yeah its shatt… er.
I hate all the Crimson maps, shame they were the ones included with my LE… Its like the first few map packs are the ones where 343 learns how to do maps and the ones i’d have to buy outside of the LE included pack will likely be the good ones.

FYI all 9 DLC maps are included with the LE.

The Crimson playlist didn’t even hit 2k last night. It wasn’t the lowest populated playlist of them all…
I love it,
i love all 3 dlc maps.
However, i hate Haven and Ragnarok!
Its freakin’ stupid that they put out a new map pack then ALL the maps are in EVERY other playlist so there’s no reason to play it.
I want maps like Avalanche from Halo 3 and Highlands from the Defiant DLC from Halo: Reach. They were open maps with multiple routes to get anywhere, and they were gametype and vehicle friendly. Wreckage isn’t too bad, but it’s not vehicle friendly with all the “wreckage” in the way. Harvest COULD have been better but, again, it’s not vehicle friendly. All of the action for CTF games takes place in the middle (where vehicles can’t go), and the ramps on the sides of the map are useless. Harvest could have been good if it didn’t feel so cramped and had been more open around the edges and spread out. Shatter is a decent map but, once again, not vehicle friendly. I will say that the only maps on Halo 4 that I enjoy playing on are Ragnarok and Haven. The rest are “meh.”

I know, I’m anticipating that all 9 will be rubbish, with the last set slightly better then the first.
The fact that this game kept Reach’s tie voting rule where the left option always wins, I really -Yoinking!- hate Shatter. So sick of that map now. Can’t a guy play on Harvest or Wreckage? No warthogs on Shatter makes it hard to get the last dumb achievement I need also. Randomize the options, or randomize the winner of the voting. STOP MAKING ME PLAY SHATTER.
Not to mention that sniping on that map is horrible due to all the framerate lag that happens when scoping in down long sight lines. It’s even worse on split screen. Pretty much impossible to hit anything.
Its good for CTF
The only thing I hate about the Crimson DLC is that after all the games I’ve played on the Crimson DLC playlist (probably around 15-20, so not really that many), I have never gotten to play a game on Harvest.
IMO, Harvest is not bad in spite of its size, and I <3 the Wreckage map because, well, it’s a small map.
I would like Shatter, ‘cept that it overloads my xbox when I play split screen. I play with my brother all the time, and that map is SO DANG LAGGY on split screen to the point where I can’t enjoy playing at all. I hope the next maps run a lil’ better on split screen.
I would rate the pack 7/10. It’s worth it ONLY when you don’t play split screen all the time.
I like Shatter - probably my favourite of the DLC map so far.

shatter=best dlc map. i enjoy all 3 of the new maps better then most of the stock maps
