Actually I hate RNG, bad luck is just a bonus. Anyway, earlier today I opened a gold and got the Hermes helmet “aw sweet! A few more golds and I’ll get the body, then I’ll be Kelly!” next gold: garbage next gold: garbage “The next one, I can feel it!” opens gold pack… *Hermes Dolios* Why??? Like, I might as well save the time and just kick myself in the teeth.
Disregard this thread; the last gold pack I opened gave me the Hermes body, I’m happy.

You can clearly see he is unhappy with what he has been getting in Gold packs… Spend 10K and get useless things… I myself also have this bad luck on my side… Im level 92 and everything that is awesome I have none of… it some how knows the things you like and doesn’t give them to you… Lol
Yeah, well at least you got hermes.
All I keep getting is weapon skins, emblems and weapon certifications. Oh and the odd legendary warmaster or orbital pieces, you know, those armour sets that I already have one or two of and really don’t want or need another one.

Kinda makes playing Halo feel like a chore now, doesn’t it? Remember when playing Halo was the reward? Playing a fun game with your friends after a long day at work or school? Now the reward is the REQ pack and the chore to get the pack is the game. Now the fun game we used to enjoy is just a means of grinding to get the carrot on the stick and the enjoyment of the game diminishes. Seems like these reward systems are detrimental to the games if you ask me.

Well I got what I wanted for a while I feel like chief because I haven’t taken this off in so long. Just waiting till I get either bucks or kellys armor but at the same time I want any of the new reach armors, but with wetwork cleaner I can be happy until I do get those armors

He wanted Kellys armor but dolios is patterned so its not really Kellys armor, either that or he got the helmet so when he asked for another piece of the set he got a dup in a sense

It seem that it will never give me the H2 BR. It give me other goodies, but I was hoping to get this when it first came out, but still grinding my way through.
silver to gold also kind of sucks in that regard…always random, we should b rewarding the fans with what they want like armor and emblems through credit purchases, not this foolish cash grabbing time wasting RNG system. my only hope is that they learn with 5 and try to improve towards 6

Mostly on point. I have most of the REQs because I enjoy playing Halo. I don’t play to get the REQs, I just love the game. I don’t know if it is detrimental, however, as I still enjoy the game whether I’m collecting REQs or not. It’s more just another feature that appeals to some and doesn’t matter to others.
