So I’m running through a Halo marathon (Reach, CE, 2-3) with a friend of mine and I’m waiting for him to get on and play the last two levels of Halo 3 campaign with me. To warm up my skills I’m playing multiplayer and getting reaquainted with the BR.
One thing I remember now seing it was jumpy guys. OH!! How it Pisses me off! Not just jumping, strafing, maneuvering but the constant bunny rabbit effect. It’s like playing paddle ball only you’re trying to get the ball to stop bouncing off the -yoink!-ing board. Now that Halo 4 has a higher jump height, will I have to endure the constant jumping again? Or do you E3 and RTX boys have any input as to potential differences?
I don’t see the problem here. After 2 years+ of being tied down with cinder blocks in Reach, Halo 4 will allow us to make jumps again and i cannot be more happy for the return of high jumps.
OP is going to have to really adapt and get used to the fact that not everyone charges straight forward.

i feel you pain man and it will be a big probably especially against automatic guns
Is aiming in the mythical direction known as “up” too hard for you?
It isn’t for the rest of us. Although it amuses me that bumper jumper fans think hopping around like a rabbit with a carrot stuck up their -Yoink- somehow gives them a tactical advantage.
players that jump don’t bother me. Easier targets.
While I use bumper jumper layout I only jump when I need to juke a player or get over an area by crouch jumping. If you don’t like jumpers deal with it. They won’t be going anywhere and it’s part of the game.
