Seriously! It’s nearly impossible for me to kill ANYTHING on it! The shotgun either lacks range or something because I can never kill someone lunging towards me with it and the AR doesn’t deplete the infected fast enough. However, apparently other people do not mind using me as a meatshield and most importantly! It’s nearly impossible to infect anyone since the players will camp somewhere with no blind spots and apparently their shotguns work!
I am starting to wonder when 343 will remove the quitting rule so that I can quit whenever I am the last place… I am TIRED of being the last place!
Who cares if your in last place infection is supposed to be a kick back and relax kinda game. Have fun and enjoy it man.

The weapons feel different in Halo 5 than in previous versions, so if you are used to playing infection on Halo reach you are goong to need to play infection for a while to get the hang of it. My suggestion is find a buddy to play with so you can protect each other until you get the hang of infection.

meh, the survivors have it made even with their limited supplies, the whole point of infection is to hold out to the last bullet with any usage of power weapon unless it’s a custom mode. one pistol, on shotgun, nothing more. So quit hiding behind the map weapons and “git gud”.
it took me two games of infection to actually get kills with the shotgun for some reason. I guess it takes getting used to i dont know. I certainly can get kills now.
And we hate you! This is prob the best infection ever! It is super balanced.

Probably a lag or latency issue. I had a game where as infected i couldnt infect a player even though i was point blank hitting them in the back with the sword 3 times.

Now this is what I wanted to hear. I am just glad I am not the only one…
EDIT: I can certainly say that after the map changed, I can finally get them (and at a farther range no less)… Might be a glitch, because I literally hit someone that was only one step away from striking distance and nothing happened. Now I can kill them twice as far…

This might be as well… I am in Spain after all… I am just glad some people are actually trying to be resourceful rather than thinking someone who rarely complains is doing so due to being bad…
On the other side, how do you score a victory? It seems whenever I did better than usual, I apparently had a defeat, but when I did awful, they counted as victories, why is that?

it’s strange, i always hear about how cancerous the halo waypoint forums are and i didn’t believe it until i saw this
Try setting your matchmaking filtering to Focused. You may be experiencing inconsistency due to lag.
have you tried the shoot button? I heard it helps
Sorry you hate you infection but it’s you, not the game mechanics. I’ve been getting Cluster Luck and Shotgun kills left and right. Just play and improve your skills.
