The changes make it way too hectic and vehicle centric. It feels like before the gauss hog got nerfed. The vehicles shouldn’t have been switched or at least the mantises shouldn’t have been added. They are to OP for the map. I won’t be voting for it again sadly and I really liked it before today.

and for commendation freaks like myself now have no way to get the tank commendation mastered but other than that i agree with OP

So,no news yet as to which map(s) the Scorpion and Wraith ended up on?

Exile is a large map and its only one Mantis…plenty of combat space there and you won’t have to cross its path. Same with the Rocket Hog. As always though, with any mp with vehicles, if your a foot solider and run around in open spaces, oh well, he/she should know better by now!
My only complaint about the Mantis is that it should spawn where the Scorpion did, not closer still to the Blue base.

You think thats bad,wait till you see longbow! 2xgauss, 2xbanshee and power weapon drops every 2 minutes.Whats with wanting to kill/die so quickly.Its getting less of a battle and more like hide n seek.Every corner you turn someone has a weapon to kill you with one hit,wheres the skill in that?

Are you serious? That honestly sounds like a bad joke. People wanted more vehicles, but there’s no way that could even be considered balanced for Heavies.

Dang. That doesn’t sound good. Longbow was just fine before too. Geez they didn’t have to change maps just for the sake of change did they? Vortex changes are awesome but exile I know I don’t like and from the sound of it longbow isn’t good either. I think meltdown is fine with the changes, maybe even bit better. Seems like the developers went gauss crazy…

The wraith and the rocket hog are no longer on Vortex, instead there is two Mantises, two gauss hogs and a banshee.
Longbow has two banshees, two gauss hogs on the map.
Ragnarok has two rocket hogs added to it.
Exile: Have not played it yet.
Settler: No changes as far as I know.
Complex: No changes as far as I know.
See, and Complex should have had at least two chaingun warthogs added (one each side).

Feel free to correct me if I am wrong here, but, that leaves Outcast as the only map left with a tank (Scorpion or Wraith) on it, doesn’t it? Has anyone played on it yet to confirm?

This sounds very, very bad. Lord only knows what Heavies would look like.
yes Outcast is the only map that has it and it never shows up in the voting round so i hope they add the scorpion to other maps
More Gauss Hogs? Bleh.
