How does guys with a fuel rod camping the drop ship spawns with Friendly Fire off so they can destroy your vehicles considered fun?!!!
Had this guy purposely destroy my ghost with a fuel rod just to be an jack*** he flew right over me looked down and fired… 
Agreed these people are idiots but frankly ghosts shooting around when Im trying to use a sniper can be really annoying and hard not to hit. I never shoot peoples vehicles unless they have rocketed me all game or are shooting at me from their vehicle.
Honestly if you want to use a vehicle in firefight play grunt firefight on beachhead. You will get all 120 kills and if done right you can also do the entire match without dieing.
What he did is not right,dont get me wrong Im just putting it to you that maybe you should get vehicle kills alone and not with online players. As for frg spammers taking out masses of enemies from a dropship I do the same with my sniper,rocket spammers are annoying but not unbeatable I use a sniper all game and am nearly always top player.
Do you run over and betray other people in firefight arcade? I’ve probably been betrayaed on purpose at least a dozen times with the ghost or hog on beachhead or installation 04. Maybe he thought you were one of those types.
Unless you’ve done it often you don’t know how irritating and boring it is to sit in a game of gruntpoc or 2x score attack on beachhead over and over to farm vehicle kills. It’s much more fun to use the rocket hog on beachead in arcade fight especially in the bonus round.

I like picking off enemies my team doesn’t spot. The fact that he purposely flew over to me where I am not anywhere near the line of fire in the first place in fact I was retreating towards to base so I could pick off any enemies that were trying to do a sneak attack…is RATHER annoying.
I never betray my teammates, and most of the time, I use the magnum because I’ve already gotten all my commendations with the powerweapons…can’t we have a new firefight playlist that allows people who want to play challenging firefight matches, like limited, to play things WITH normal weapons…not this power weapons crap…
Unfortunately no you carnt 343 removed ff doubles so unless you go into ff with atleast 3 players you will never be guaranteed to get the gametypes you want. Sad I know but blame 343 for this. Also blame bungie for removing firefight limited which as far as Im concerned should have always remained its own playlist, under populated or not.
We have that, it’s called Limited and it never gets chosen. I like limited except for when people rush to the ordinance drops which is pretty much standard. They run, grab the rockets or TL and get a quick killionaire then die 10 times and run out of lives. Before the august update or whichever one it was that removed heretics from limited the best option was to hijack a wraith and kill enemies with it. That way you could get three splatter sprees, wheelman sprees, and easily over one hundred vehicle kills without it getting boring. I generlly avoid the ghost on beachhead because the last few times I thought I’d drive it some sniper jackhole blew it up when he saw I was going for it. Most of the time it’s a holes who enjoy -Yoink!- people off, I can’t think of any other reason. There have been times when on the ground I was forced to destroy someone in a ghost but not because they were in it, but because they either carelessly rammed me, almost betrayed, or did betray me. It is most enjoyable to drive a mongoose on installation 04 and get wheelman sprees that way.

It’s usually the second option in arcade.
The jetpack/FRG fest are always reckless. I’ve found if I don’t join it, I simply become friendly fire or score almost nothing. The only thing one can gain from it is perhaps sniper sprees and the perfect round commendation.

The four of us in firefight limited might make a good team. It’d be great to get all those odst 200k achievements too.

Yes I dont mean to be rude but I know its the 2nd option in firefight but what I meant in my post above is good luck in getting players to choose it. As if you dont have the majority vote then most players vote for arcadefight. Which personally is my fav as you dont get people wasting the target locator and killing only 2 enemies or running in thinking they are he-man and dieing over and over.
I dont mind limited but I do mind playing it with randoms I got so sick of being last man standing with no power weapons but a plasma pistol and my dmr to help me kill 5 golden elites several spec ops and the rest of the gang. Tired of not losing a life until all other players have wasted them and then dieing once and then wow game over. Thanks but no thanks. No full party team of my choosing no ff limited for me Im afraid.
i usually blow up any vehicle that comes close to me, i can normally tell if anyone is trying to betray me with a vehicle.
If im in area which has no enemies and i have some idiot flying towards me in a ghost i will blow it up straight away…
Rocket hog and human turret are perfect if u want vehicle kills
Arcade should really be a weekend only kind of thing. Playing with the options and creating new gametypes every weekend. Like fists and Grunts only. Then Sniper and Elites only. etc.
But it’s really annoying when you manage to hijack a Wraith and take control of it. So many people get sooo jealous quickly, and know they can kill you without getting booted.

It is exceedingly satisfying to be playing with a griefer who’s using a mic and trash talks almost non-stop, notice they’ve gone near-silent and hear the sound of the ghost screaming towards you… and then you armor lock.
Vehicles are death traps in Arcadefight. I don’t understand why anyone would voluntarily drive around in one in a vain attempt to get kills or splatters. You’re better off spamming a FRG or rocket from cover rather than getting EMP’ed then stuck with plasma grenades, blown up with FRGs, tossed around with concussion rifles or sniped and rocketed by Elites. IMO anyone deliberately trying to blow you up is doing you and the rest of the team a favor. You’re going to get blown up anyways if you kept on driving and in all likelihood, splatter and take a teammate with you in a fiery blaze.
I prefer to use vehicles tactically to block off routes for the AI. On Beachhead you can block the stairs to the roof and holdout against the Elite sniper and heavy wave. Block the staircase off on Unearthed to bottleneck the enemies to rush in from one doorway. Block the ramps on Courtyard with forklifts to keep Elite heavies from overwhelming you. Score attack is the place where you should be farming the bulk of your vehicular commendation against hapless Grunts. Use turrets and vehicles without worrying about anyone blowing you up.

Vehicles are reliable enough in Arcadefight where they can take a few hits. I’ve gotten Sunday Driver medals enough times in Arcadefight (it’s much easier on Limited though). But as for the Elite waves, you are correct, they will wreck your stuff. I’ve purposely blown my teammates vehicles up when I notice they’re about to die to save their lives (since when your vehicle is destroyed by teammates, you don’t die). This is the only time I’ll ever do this.
Yeah the 5 golden generals are typically the only thing I have a tough time (not saying I don’t die from others) with in Firefight, the first one off the dropship tends to charge so fast I never see him coming.

I see this happen a lot. Most happens to -yoinks- who try to betray while in the vehicle, others do it just because they can. That’s just one of the problems you encounter while playing FF Arcade.
I like FF a lot, but arcadefight is the worst gametype I’ve ever encountered (except BTB heavies). Everyone choose the jetpack+FRG loadout, and there is nothing challenging in the game.
Beachhead is the only map worth driving a vehicle or going for vehicle kills. If that is your goal then I would suggest Score Attack. You are certain to get over 100+ kills then, no way you would even come close in an Arcadefight situation. When I see folks in a vehicle I never shot even in their direction, mostly because I want to see how long they will last, especially once the heavy elites spawn. As far as power weapons go, I have no real problems with spammers, campers, or people just goofing off. My problems lie with AFK’ers and kids who use their toasters as routers and lag the game to death.
I used to never quit matches, but now if I am using a sniper or a weapon that I want to be sharp. If I dont have that crisp firing, I am out.
