I hate 343 Industries

Well 343 Industries has turned out to be a bunch of jerks there is no challenges in campaign to earn points towards the battle pass there’s no firefight mode with challenges to earn points towards the battle pass so every thing has to be done in PvP and I suck at PVP I do not enjoy PVP frankly if it was up to me it wouldn’t exist in any video game I like firefight mode playing the campaign in multiplayer and playing the campaign solo screw PVP how we unlocked things in the Master Chief collection is better than Halo infinite oh and weapons skins and vehicle skins would be available in the campaign if I had made Halo infinite and there would be challenges in the campaign to unlock this stuff for Halo infinites campaign not just your stupid PVP

I personally don’t know anyone who works there, do you?

And it makes sense, the BP is for multiplayer

We don’t know if firefight challenges will count towards BP progression because as you said: “there’s firefight mode”. Kinda irrational to be upset about something that hasn’t even been alluded to yet.

Little confused why you purchased the BP then buddy…

There are games out there for players like you. But not every title has to or is built to cater to players of your wants.

Well you can do one of those things at the moment, but it’s going to be a short while till you can play the Campaign cooperatively online. You can split screen it now if that helps. But if you want these experiences now with a Halo flavor, MCC is your best bet.

That’s up for debate. I personally find the challenge system and point system to be an absolute slog in MCC to the point where I ignore it altogether (with an exception to the 20th anniversary event, needed the Orion and Mirage sets).

I’d rather have my campaign experience to be a vanilla one. Helps create immersion in the world and gameplay.

But unfortunately you didn’t get a spot on the dev team, you can always shoot for the stars someday tho bud. Just keep studying and working hard for that game developer position, and maybe you can make a difference your way.

Sorry you don’t like PvP mate.
If I had to guess the reason why all challenges are PvP, is because that’s the free section as you need to buy the campaign.

I have an intellectual disability so studying won’t help me one damn bit they just need people with common sense to work at 343 industries unfortunately not too many people at 343 industries have common sense we should be able to use weapon skins and vehicle skins in campaign and visor colors in campaign and those things we should be able to unlock in campaign not PvP battle pass If they are locked behind a battle pass then there should be challenges we could complete in campaign to unlock those things for campaign they had challenges in the MCC in campaign why not Halo Infinite they cater to the PvP players too much they need to give campaign players stuff to I mean we got the skulls which I love and I hope they add more in the future but there needs to be more than just that

I’m sorry to hear that.

Common sense was used, Master Chief is not your Spartan avatar. He’s green armor gold visor, gravely voice soft spoken Master Chief, main protagonist of 5 of the 7 Halo titles. He’s not Noble 6, who was whatever you wanted them to be. He’s who he is, I’m sorry you don’t have an outlet outside of MP to portray your own Spartan yet, but slapping any other armor onto the Chief would take away from his whole persona.

Maybe there should be some overlap in some capacity for challenge completion, but honestly again the single player/campaign customization thing just doesn’t fit the narrative.

Dunno, hopefully there’s something of the sort in time for those who purchased the Campaign.

For as iconic as the story and campaigns in Halo are, it was always the multiplayer that kept the overwhelming majority of players hooked long after the missions were completed. There has never been a precedent for Campaign additions, but it seems like 343 is going to continue the story mode in some way with Infinite.

I hope in time you get an opportunity to further the campaign as well as some PvE modes that you can enjoy in place of the PvP offerings.

Well I think bungie at lest would not forget about the people that prefer campaign

Well this is productive

If you’re playing on console try playing on PC if you can. It’s so much easier to aim with controller, because the aim assist actually works over there.

To be honest I had nothing personal against 343. But were nearing the 1 month anniversary of the day they broke the game with that playlist update. ANY other studio running not even a live service game but just a regular game would have done a rollback to fix the none functional BTB, and random crashes. Especially if they knew they would be leaving on a holiday break. The fact 343 did not do this is mind boggling. They ran this game into the ground.

I would like to know what games you’ve played, live service or not, that did a roll back when they made a mistake with an update. Neverwinter sure as heck never did that and almost every update they made broke something. Warframe always drops a buggy mess of an update that then causes the game to need 5+ updates sometimes in the form of hotfixes to work them out.

Welcome to the club OP.

I’m just glad that 343 has learned the errors of their ways and are trying to make Halo into Halo again. Though they are stumbling still, at least they are stumbling into an Game-Design-Failures-Anonymous meeting and.

Never played those games. They must be run by incompetent dev teams too. Or maybe software development is changing, and modern studio’s are told to just push broken products, and not worry about it. Because this is a first for me but then i’m an older gamer. My experience is when there are serious issues they rollback, and fix it before they push it out again. Even more so if they know they will be leaving the office for a week or two. It’s like absolute simple common sense.

Hate is such a strong word to use over a video game. I recommend you take a break.

If you saw the original script that Halo 5 had to offer and then played through Brian Reed’s overglorified fanfiction that he decided to replace the script with, you too would feel hate.

Honestly 343 Industries messed up by not going the Halo 4, Halo 5 and MCC route of commendations, Challenges, Points / Credits.
But hey, you got to respect the hustle.
