This is not a title or click bate and I seriously had a dream of this last night.
I love Halo 3 ODST. It was very unique, the gameplay was the best since it felt so different. Back to the main topic, I had a dream that 343 was working on an ODST sequel and revealed the game in E3 2017. The game took place around in the aftermath of Halo 5 Guardians in a metropolis city. You are with a squad of ODST’s trying to rescue the hostages and prevent the Prometheans and Covenant from attacking the city. All the Spartan IV’s straight up died and got slaughtered on Earth. Elites are leading the fleet.
The mission starts off when you parachute off a drop ship (You know ome of those things from the first mission in Halo 3 ODST). After that you land on a building. One of your squads tell you to put on your visor. When you do, the visor is able to see through walls like the Promethean vision. Once you find the heat signatures with your visor, you plant a c4 to breach the building. After the sweep and saving the hostages with you spraying at useless brutes and grunts, an elit zealot comes out of nowhere and stabs one of your ODST allies. You end up blocking the sword with your smg and another ODST shoots him with a shotgun in the back twice. The ODST that got stabbed tells you to rendevous with the marines. As soon as you head down stairs, your character has the option to put your suppressor on your barrel. With angry brutes, ugly jackals, and suicidal grunts, you kill them all but all of your buddies died from suicidal bombimg grunts. You are traumatized from the event but a fellow marine tells you “On your feet soldier”. As you recover, prometheans are flat out killing everyone in your view. Angrily, you exit the building and get inside a tank. My dream fades.
I swear I am not lying. I legit had this dream. I can say that the environment had a Battlefield feel to it such as the blood, destructive buildings, etc. I really wish this was all real.

How do you remember your dreams? I don’t remember any of them. Must be nice to have these awesome dreams!

They probably won’t make a ODST 2 because all the guys at 343i are knuckleheads.
