I had hoped the new rotational playlist would

bring some life back, but HOTH isn’t much fun this way, and I would love to figure out a way to fix it.

I played 8 games yesterday, and lost all of them. The only one that was very competitive was the one I JIP’ed in, and we almost pulled the comeback. All of the other games were teams of 20-30’s pitted against mostly single-digit randoms. Almost all ended up where the weaker team had at least one player quitting, usually more.

I hope this weekend will bring enough players that the matchmaking system can divvy things up better. Would it make sense to tell the uber-team they have to wait or break up?

First of all, the overall population is low. You’re very unlikely to get a good skill match in any playlist except BTB and SWAT (and perhaps Infinity Slayer, when the DLC restriction is lifted on Monday).

Not only that, but KotH required the Bullseye Map Pack, further decreasing the number of players who are available to search in that playlist and increasing your odds of a bad skill match.

That said, I’ve been having bad skill matches with Halo 4 since the game came out (matched with teammates who are worse than me against players who are better than me), so Halo 4’s restrictions on skill wasn’t exactly strict to begin with.

I play 98% of my games with randoms as teammates in btb & I rage (so much I would put the hulk to shame for anger issues) with the stupidity of them!
You very rarely get a equal skill match, so much so I now know most of the btb CSR 40’s & 50’s G/T from facing them!
Or you get 4 people quitting on your team & do not get any JiP help while facing 8 players on the other team!
