So I know this may sound weird but I’ve had dreams about what Halo 3 and Halo Reach months after their teasers. My dreams were never what the game actually became to be. Even with that in mind I’ll let you know about my Halo 4 dream I just had for my 12 hour sleep I just had.
Ok so no multiplayer spoilers as the only thing they was released in my dream ad dump was a single pic of a multiplayer map and a campaign level demo. The single image of the multiplayer map I couldn’t really make out what it was but it gave me a good idea about how the graphics were going to look. The graphics were a ton like Halo 3 with even better dynamic lighting and a small splash of Reachs grittiness. That right their I wish wasn’t a dream because thats the perfect combo for new graphics.
The other part of my dream was a campaign demo. This is where it got really weird. The enemies in my dream were much like the fire enemies from sonic generations. The campaign was also very linear judging from that one level it was much like the Halo 3 level flood gate. Mainly the part at 6:15 and on. I know this isn’t real info on Halo 4 but I thought I would share with you guys and gals.

Well the level seemed much like an opener level with burning pieces of ship everywhere and a lesser enemy to start off fighting for newcomers. Much like Reach did with the Skirmishers and Grunts.

I’m surprised that you remember some part of it… the moral of that dream is… Wait for Halo 4, and don’t imagine it the way you want it to be…
I had 1 Halo 4 dream where I was playing on a multiplayer map that was alot like the part of longshore with the warf and there was some unsc motorcycle thing too, and that was basically it.

lol I’d be very angry if the campaign turned out to be like my dream. Fire enemies likes Sonics? haha no thanks. It’s not the way I want it to be at all.

Otherwise you’ll just be disappointed, lol.
I don’t know why Bungie refused to create big set pieces for the first stage of each game. Have they ever heard of “in media res”? Seeing what 343 teased, I’m hopeful that they’re more attuned to tried and true story telling methods. Having Chief wake up, get used to the camera, and then get out of the wreckage of the ship to have a firefight raging around him and just going guns blazing into a battle with some remnants of the Covenant would be epic.
Seriously, other than Half-life 2, most games I consider epic start off with an action sequence. Half-life 2’s opening was fine because it really gave you a feel for how much has changed and just how bleak stuff was. It wouldn’t have made sense to start off with a firefight given that you’re supposed to feel completely oppressed.
Back after I played Halo 2 for the first time on the PC, I had a dream, a dream that I was playing Halo 3 on my PC. Well only half of that dream came true, I did end up playing Halo 3, just not on my PC.

lol I completely forgot it was MLK day. I woke up in the afternoon and instantly posted this topic before I forgot my dream. Now I feel something extra special about my dream. Either it’s gonna somewhat come true or I’m gonna be shot…
I do a ton of Halo research before I sleep every night and try to find new H4 info or leaks. That probably has a lot to do with my dreams.

This one time, me and my buddy Keith… never-mind, but this one time me and Keith both has the same dream about halo reach, then it came true! the dream was that reach was going to have shooting in it! >:3
I had one dream about Reach in early 2010 right after “Once More Unto The Breach” was released. Like you, was nothing like the real game. But I was a Spartan and got sniped in the chest, hurt like hell! But I hid in a corner and healed, felt much better, then went to find who shot me.

Doesn’t compare to what me and Keith did! Cause this one time, me and my buddy Keith were dreaming about halo 4, it has john in it! i hope it comes true.
