I have made a couple post on this topic in the past, but I feel as though its a lot more relevant now. As a lot of you know, Eldewrito, a sort of version of Halo 3, recently released version 0.6. THOUSANDS of players started playing, but unfortunately, Microsoft is now shutting it down. Although this is extremely saddening, they have the right to do so. There is some hope, though. In the recent update by 343i, they stated, "As we look ahead, we’re very excited about the prospects of an official classic Halo experience making its way to PC and we hope to be able to partner with the ElDewrito team and broader mod and content creation community to help inform the types of experiences and features our fans desire. While we have nothing to announce today, please know that the PC community is very important to us and top of mind as we work towards the future. " I do not mean to speculate or look too in to things, but I think its safe to assume Halo 3 on PC might not be impossible. As ridiculous as it sounds, I would actually pay full $60 dollars for a Halo 3 port, just to see the glorious things you could do with it. You could probably even do more than you can on Eldewrito.
