i kill a guy, but im left 1shot, he respawns instantly and kills me before my shield recharge, i guess im just bad at the game

my team manages to get the lead, someone on the other team get an ordnace drop for a sniper rifle,he then camps with it to win the game, my team must be bad i guess

i get the drop on a guy, get him 1shot, he turns around and throws a random plasma grenade that he put into his loadout and sticks me, i must be bad at this game \

i play on abandon, and the enemy team camps the mid building the entire game, i manage to kill a few with grenades, they respawn instantly and get back in position to continue camping, i must be bad at the game

i must be really bad at this game =/ because there are no problems with it, everything works perfectly and is well balanced and nothing needs to be fixed, a bunch of key features and game types from the other halo games were removed, its obviously for the best though, who needs race, assault, and more custom game options? not me because the game is perfect =)thanks 343 this game is perfect, please dont change anything especially not the DMR, its not overpowered, its just better than all the other guns in the game in every area, and the best part is i can spawn with it every time =D thanks 343

  1. That’s either a case of bad respawns (which I haven’t seen much of) or you neglecting cover. So yes.

  2. If your team had any sort of sense, it should be easy to get out an entrenched sniper camper. So yes the team is bad if they can’t deal with one. P.S. Doesn’t matter how the player obtained it- they obtain it, they’ll destroy you as their skill permits.

  3. Absolutely. Either that or they’re a good throw. There should be no excuse for you to get stuck when you get the drop on someone other than that they’re either a helluva thrower or you were just reckless. Does it matter if it came from the loadout? Hardly. I can think of gametypes back to H3’s days that had plasma starts. Invalid.

  4. They had some level of team coordination, apparantly yours did not. If you actually, y’know, plug your headset in, get out of party chat, and talk to your teammates (especially those who also have mics in) then you can easily dig them out. This is no different from previous games where there was a sweetspot. This just requires more coordination- don’t forget you get instaspawn too. Apparantly you guys just failed at covering the entrances that they had to run back to.

Nothing’s perfect, least of all ANY videogame, but I’d say your arguements are even more lacking in perfection.

I’ll post a counter-argument for each of your points ^^

-First situation, you must be unlucky / out in the open / playing in a very small map where you have to expect quick respawn (with the new system, that is good in slayer mode to speed up play)

-Second, the guy got his ordonance drop with points that he earned + a sniper will not run at you to get kill + he still manages to get the kills

-Third, plasma grenades are part of Halo sandbox and it is possible to be killed by one. He was precise to stuck you.

-Fourth, the enemy team earned the map control + you can attack them by multiples sides and grenade spawn them (like you did) to get kills.

Don’t forget that you can now reload faster than someone that doesn’t have the perk, you can combine speed boost and infinite sprint with the Hammer and dominate, don’t forget you can spawn with camo and camp it out, or spawn with jet pack, break map control (of what’s left in this game as there barely is any) you can negate Headshots by being directly above your opponent, you can fly up and use the Rocket launcher and get an easy kill. Trust me, I became a jet pack user in Reach and I know how broken that AA is, it’s disgusting, and it’s no different in Halo 4.

Also don’t forget that you don’t get de-scoped when shot at so you can continue sniping without a worry, long range DMR/BR fights take less skill now because it used to be about a combination of out scoping, having better accuracy and precision and strafing, now it’s pretty much who see’s who (In long range fights) The flinching isn’t very noticeable.

Lol I never had the instant respawn happen to me so I can’t speak about that but everything else, yes, your bad lol. If you and your team can’t take out a sniper that’s your fault. If you get stuck with stickies that’s your fault, duck and dodge lol. Instead of blaming weapons and loadouts for your deaths try to get better tacticly and defensively.

  1. Yeah, get behind cover. Use your radar. 3-4 Enemies could have been coming at you.

  2. You can’t beat a sniper/camper? You don’t get ordiance drops? Yeah, the sniper isn’t OP. DMR or BR will take out the sniper easily. Especially if you use your team.

  3. Someone used their plasma grenades against you? The plasma grenades that have been in halo since halo 1? Did you know that you can have plasmas too? Did you know that he could have picked up a plasma? He owned you when you couldn’t land your last shot, admit defeat.

  4. Wow, powercontrol in a Halo game. That never happens. Yeah, you and your team aren’t very good. Learn to control the top, or you should have gotten the lead and defended elsewhere.

These were horrible examples to use to justify how the game is bad and not you. If these scenerios are true, yeah, they are your fault.

Go practice.

Based on this, I would say you are bad.

If you are killing someone, and their immediate respawn puts them a few feet away from you I would say that you are not playing Halo 4. I have yet to see the atrocious spawn-killing from Halo 3 and Reach. If they are spawning immediately in front of you I suggest you get out of their spawn.

Also, I don’t know how other peoples ordinance works, but I have to get to my 3rd ordinance most of the time before I get a decent weapon like a sniper. Most of the time it is grenades, needler and speed boost or grenades, shotgun and overs. If you have the other team getting to an insane number of ordinances, then yes, your team is bad.

I know guys, it’s not like Reach turned into with the crazy spawn killing, so you have to actually use skill in order to win, but lets not try to justify your losses with the game mechanics, ok?
