Hi! I have seen many posts on the DMR and how elusive it can be. Im SR 32 or so and just now got it from a gold pack. You can get it in silver packs too not sure if chances are better or worse tho since both only have 2 perm unlocks. The DMR req card is rare quality and is a loadout weapon for warzone. You can use it in warzone at req level 6. Same level as the scorpion tank and sniper rifle. Just like other loadout weapons after equiped it will remain equiped every time u spawn unless u decided to change it out. DMR vs BR…ok so DMR is better at range than the BR but you must be very accurate. So it can take some time to get used to and takes 5 shots minimum to kill vs the BR with 4. So you will lose some 1v1s at first trying to get used to it unless you use it in slayer alot. But it is a great gun and very satisfying to get kills with.
As for what packs to get i think overall it would be easier to get it in silver packs since you get 2 perma items per pack and they cant be above rare. Gold packs have 2 perma items too but can be uncommon to legendary giving u more chances not to get the DMR. This is if you are only going for the DMR because you wont be getting any ultra rares or legendarys. Hope this helps someone! I know it would have helped me a few days ago. Good luck!
Update: seems many people have gotten a DMR that costs 8 req to use in warzone. It is most likely a variation of the stock 6 cost DMR. Not sure what all variations cost yet hope not all are 8 req besides stock.
I have only seen a few people with it in warzone and many posts asking about it. If u think about it, it can be very hard to get ( you got lucky) because its is a rare perma unlock and there are a ton of rare perma cards like alot of the armors emblems and many other things so trying to just get a specific one can be hard.

Thats odd maybe it has a different scope making it an ultra rare costing 8 instead of 6. It usually tells you near the end of the description on the gun whats different about it. Thanks for the info!

Not sure it was the last REQ of the night which I always open before I get off.
Not to rain on your parade. I got mine at level 15, my buddy at rank 23 or so still hasn’t gotten one lol. It’s his favorite weapon in the whole game too.
I think I got it from a silver pack, I stopped opening up a lot of gold packs and started buying silver ones, got way more variety of cards from it.

Ah nice it seems there are alot of variations and some are 8 req. I hope not all the variations are tho 8 req is very late game.
