I I find it very funny that being patient and waiting got me everything that LE purchases received for the extra price. Spec codes, check! Map pack, check! I could careless about in game extra-aesthetics (i.e. helmets, emblem, gun skins), or anything that came with the disk itself. I’m glad I was able to remain patient.
you got lucky as did everyone else, get cocky now and it will come back to bite you
I am honestly more annoyed as an LE owner that I had to wait several hours to begin download on my maps. Poor customer service on Microsoft’s part, and im sure they are kicking themselves right now over this free dlc slip-up.

I feel loke i was ripped off for buying the LE. First it was every one getting specializations if you played in the first 20 days. As an LE owner i paid an extra 40$ to get that early and they just give it away. Now theres this map pack free glitch. I feel like i wasted money just like all the other people who bought the LE or season pass probably feel. I thought 343 was going to do a better job than this.
Remaining patient didn’t do -Yoink- for you. While everyone would have gotten the spec codes nonetheless, you didn’t even know the map pack was going to be free. So what was there to wait for?

if the crimsom map pack wasnt so bad I might start bragging, but thats a IF so I wont.
dlc in halo is kind of meaningless in my opinion, bad dlc is even less valuable.
to me personally the crimson map pack is worth exactly what I paid for it, nothing.

You know what would be more funny? 343 going to your account and denying you access to the maps even if you have them for publicly admitting you got it for free, which by the way your forum name is your gamer tag. Just a quick head ups rofl.
Cool, well I got the limited edition itself…all for free.
The worst or best thing its that he’s right, whu effort in get some money to purchase the DLC if Microsoft will be given away to people? So funny.

While I commend you on your patience, I think you may still need to work on your maturity and humility.
I made it to 50 fast enough I still got to complete a few specializations before people got codes sent to them.
The maps being free? So few people paid for them in Reach, maybe people getting them for free will cause them to show up in normal rotation more.

Nope. I got what I paid for and am happy. Don’t care about anyone else. It would be funny if guys like the OP mysteriously had their stats and rank “accidentally” reset or something though…
