Hi 343 studios, I was playing last night in a game of halo 4 and got myself 2 challenges completion. One for the monthly challenge, win 30 times in matchmaking
and one daily challenge from yesterday, win 3 times in matchmaking.
So for the monthly challenge I got 30000 points, for the daily one I got 7500 points if memory serve me right from yesterday, and 2751 points from the match itself. These exp points ranked me up to sr.38 last night, and when i played today i got demoted back to sr.37?
Is it because I acquired to many points yesterday or is there just something wrong with the server? In the challenge menu it says that i completed the challenge for the monthly one.
It’s not uncommon. On my way to sr130 it happened a few times.
It’s not a matter of demotion but rather the challenge xp being taken away causing your Spartan to sometimes go down a rank.
I’m quite certain its a glitch as it has happened to numerous ppl on these forums. It’s probably more common than we think as a lot of people do not visit these forums or do not notice it happening.
I do not know if anyone ever got their xp back by chance , asking 343 , prayer or any other means. I personally did not bother trying to get it back as all together it only totaled to about 150k xp which does not take that long to get even without challenges (double xp , Spops grind , commendation xp , waypoint codes , hell even loosing matches gives decent xp ).
