i got so bored with the play style of using the DMR. So I opted with the Assault Rifle. I’m getting better at using it and I am destroying people with it one on one when people are using the DMR. I’m doing even better with it on the Community Forge Test playlist, just shooting before you even pop out of corners to have an advantage and taking the enemy by surprise. Yes its true you can die from 5 shots from the DMR, but not when you hopping around near them. Reason why I love Halo 4 is that you can adapt.

There’s so much more to this game than the DMR. And it’s way funner when you explore the different possibilities of combinations in loadouts that can alter your approach to attacking other players.
Lately I’ve been working with Forerunner weapons a lot.
Really you can beat anybody with any weapon in this game if you know what you’re doing.
This is why I want the DMR nerfed 
if there was no “best weapon” then there would be so much more

this is how halo is meant to be played.
I use the BR as my primary right now, mostly becasue I get sick of being killed by the DMR.
I’m still trying to work out which is my best weapon lol I prefer the AR though I’m enjoying using the BR/DMR in SWAT and my head shot rate is increasing in other games Still getting owned more often than not but its still fun

Funny how this has been what all the said casuals have been saying sense the raging started and is also an ability that is crucial in any competative gametype but said competatives cant do it.
Yea I used the DMR when Halo 4 came out, got bored quick. BR lightens my day up.
Congratulations for actually trying out the different weapons. I’ve been using the AR for the last few weeks, and it’s surprisingly good. Not only that, but people seem to be so used to long-mid range combat that they’ve forgotten how to fight up close, so you’re guaranteed a kill a lot of the time just because you’re close to them (especially when they’re using the DMR). It’s even better if you use it with the Hologram.
The Light Rifle is my favourite weapon but i’m mastering all the UNSC Loadout Weapons first. Once I have protector I can use the LR freely. It’s an incredible weapon, if you know how to use it…
Same goes for the BR and Carbine really. The X2 scopes on those rifles can be very useful.

Lol no kidding. Assault Rifle is OP as hell.
