I had played only for a bit today (the day i saw the req pack), and had played the Halo 3 Throwback Playlist before seeing it. (I don’t know if this has anything to do with me getting the free pack or not). Anyways after playing a round of that and then a BTB match I realized I had an unopened Req Pack. I looked at it and it was the Greatest Hits Customization Pack (normally around 10 US dollars), which I did NOT buy beforehand. I wouldn’t reject this if it was actually free, but I don’t want to open it yet because it just might be a glitch. Any advice or answers as to why I received this would be greatly appreciated.
Someone probably gifted it to you. Check and see if there’s a GT attached to it. I’ve never gifted anyone so I don’t know if the sender’s GT is on it.
Edit: I just read it’s halo B-day. I guess we a free pack or something… Yeap… Just logged in to H5 I got one also.
Not a bug OP, it’s a Birthday gift from 343 to celebrate Halo 5’s 2nd birthday. Crack it open and see what you got

The only downside is if you play only WZ… I have tons of Legendary XP for Arena. I can’t remember ever getting a Legendary WZ XP boost.

How is there a downside from receiving a gift? They weren’t required to give it to you and you got something for free…

I couldn’t gift it to someone that could put it good use, a waste of a well intentioned gift.
