I GOT A NEW RECRUIT!

My girlfriend is not a gamer, and I finally convinced her to do some co-op on Halo Anniversary (good place to start, right?).
There was a bit of a learning curve, but by the end of “Pillar of Autumn” she was magnum-popping Birthday Grunt Surprises all over the shop and laughing like fool. We had a blast. Now, she wants to back up and start with Reach and run through all the Halos. She also wants to watch “Forward Unto Dawn” … which she had zero interest in doing last year.
You have a new fan now, 343 … you’re welcome (even though you did all of the work).

That’s good. BTW, if she wants to continue to play, the next thing she should try is Halo ODST Firefight if not Halo Reach Firefight.

Agreed. The vulnerability factor is very fun, reminiscent of Marathon.

ODST Firefight is where it’s at.

Reach was just good because you can customize it to your liking, but I really wasn’t a fan of the multiplayer portions offered online.

Sweet! I wish my girlfriend played Halo with me. Oh, wait, I don’t have one. That’d explain it.

Patience, my friend. You’ll get there.

Maybe you can and go show some girls your amazing golf skills!

Believe me, I’ve tried. =D

For some unknown reason (:P), golf isn’t as universally celebrated as, oh, say, football. Why isn’t there a homecoming week dedicated to celebrating the coming of the first week of golf season?

Don’t worry … the girlfriend I mentioned may or may not be imaginary … I just can’t tell anymore

Wat. I’m assuming that you’re alluding to relationship problems. If not, then it’s not cool to lie to people.

just a joke with no basis in reality.

The OP or your previous statement saying she’s invisible?

Yeah >:D The more Halo fans the better

Congrats! I tried to get my wife to start playing when we got Reach, but it never panned out. Props on your recruitment skills! Lol

Nice job. Had the same with my gf (well, finished three levels of Halo CE thus far), though she is mostly enjoying the fantasy in storyline and nice views.

Have to take things slow… Learning to use tho thumbsticks takes a while apparantly (I can’t remember when and how I did it xD).

Not sure if this is the place, but I am looking for a solid coop partner to beat this game with me. I have been playing halo since the beginning and M no slouch. I think heroic would still be my preferred play through difficulty.

I like to have fun and communicate a lot. Kill and discuss the world at the same time, that kind a thing.

Wildly conservative and would prefer to play with someone cut from the same cloth. Sure I’d love to to help some still in the dark into the light but for this occasion I’m just looking to have some fun. I’m a formidable tactician and welcome a challenge to prove it.

Tis game looks beautiful and I know e only way I’m really gonna love it, is if I have a good partner. What do ya say.

Im Difcan! You can find me on the 360. Hit me up I’ll be ready… At reasonable eastern time hrs… Maybe later :stuck_out_tongue:

Sorry for the sloppy typing, I never proof read.

Star Wars Battlefront taught me how to use both sticks
