I played it more than enough times last night to get the feel for it and I really think this is the worst setup I’ve ever seen in a fiesta game. I could not get more than 5 kills with all the ordinance and regular custom loadouts involved. It just seems like too much going on at once. How many times do I need to keep hearing “REQUEST CONFIRMED” over and over again…
I think I’m mostly confused about the Loadouts. This is what I feel would make fiesta great in Halo 4…
- NO Loadouts
- Ordinance is fine but players should start off with a random power weapon or rifle; then an assault rifle as secondary.
I tend to agree it is a bit frustrating. I don’t mind the frustration much any more, I enjoy the game to a degree. The trick is to focus on picking up the iCannon or other power weapons that you want if you don’t have them already. Use what you can and follow your teammate to a power weapon and pick it up if you can.
I love Rockets, I enjoy Binary Slayer.
When playing binary slayer on ragnarok, I know I have time before the enemy gets to my base from initial spawn, so I put up a laser show in the air for a minute or two… last night the other team was dancing around for us to see if we could shoot them. It is, after all, action sack, not a game to take seriously.
Fiesta would be so much better off just starting you out with random weapons like in Halo 3 and be way better without the jetpack.
jetpack completely ruins fiesta
> jetpack completely ruins fiesta
big time
