I gave up on Bungie Forums and Bungie in general...

I see that a few people have been having issues with the Defiant Map Pack, correct? I noticed on Bungie.net they were having a pretty big number of people having the same problems so I went over there to tell them what to do on how to fix it, ya know, like the good little soul I am and such :stuck_out_tongue:

Anyway, I posted three possible fixes, one for the Bungie Pro way, the other for the Bonus DLC way and the Noble Map Pack way. After a few seconds I had a reply from someone. It was a nice reply. Then this one came along.

“It’s a pinned thread, this is not necessary. People can read.”

I thought that was pretty rude since this “pinned thread” he was talking about got posted 30 seconds or more before this one had been, so I would have still been writing it at that time. Not to mention all the rude replies you get on anything else you post on that website.

Just the other day I got in a post from a 13 year old boy who said that his parents were going to take Reach away from him, now you tell me how that could possibly become a religious debate on the existence of you know what.

That doesn’t bother me, what bothers me is that most of these people have no idea what they are talking about and most likely never will. It makes you wonder why so many of the intelligent bunch moved over here in the first place. Honestly, in my personal opinion, and it pains me to say it, Bungie is dead. The company I loved ten years ago isn’t the same it used to be. No offence to the ex Bungie employees in 343, but it’s true. Bungie has changed and unfortunately, they haven’t changed for the better.

so… you do know that it’s the kind of post that you just made which perpetuates the exact same kind of negativity you find so distasteful, right?

Internet message boards aren’t exactly the apex of civilized society. You don’t get to work out your differences over tea and crumpets, so you just need some thicker skin.
