If you look at EVERY VGA video, and as it’s cutting to the ‘VGA’ symbol, you can see the Chief from the reveal trailer for halo 4.
(switch to 720p and fullscreen) On this video at 1:09 you can see the chief standing over cortana. It’s not very clear in this video, but in others its much more visible.
I think Halo 4 will deffinately be at the VGA’s. It happened with Reach remember? About a year before it’s release it was shown at the VGA’s, so obviously it would happen with Halo 4. Microsoft knows that getting a product known early before it’s release is good. They are hinting at something in these trailers, it’s obviously not a co-incedence or a mistake the chief is hidden away in there.

Nah, the PS3 game is called “The Last of Us” I believe.
I know Halo 4 will be at the VGAs, if it isn’t, it will be half a shame.

The only reason they would release a Halo title on PlayStation is if their consoles do bad enough for them to stop developing them and they pull a Sega by developing and publishing titles for other consoles. That wont happen in the PS3s lifetime and it’s highly unlikely that it will happen in the next generation either.

Honestly, my theory is that games in the new trilogy, maybe not Halo 4, will make it to the PC considering the Windows 8 Xbox Live Intergration and Cross-Platform support.
If they balance it correctly, it can be a great marketing technique, and it would still be Microsoft-exclusive like Halo 1 was. Hell, most PCs cost MORE than an Xbox.

I’m pretty sure that Frankie already shot this down saying they’re not currently considering porting the games to PC but if Windows 8 has the ability to play 360 games as many have suggested then it will be playable on, but not made for PC.

Microsoft owns the Halo franchise, I highly doubt they would let one of their best, if not their best, exclusive go over to sony and lose money.
Basically Halo will never see any system besides Xbox (or PC)

Seriously though, who gives a -Yoink- if Halo 4 is also a PS3 title? Not that I don’t think it will be, as Microsoft will want to keep its flagship franchise (well, at least for many years) Xbox exclusive–I think it’s one of the few big titiles left that is single platform only (Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid, and Zelda to their respective platforms comes to mind).
To the point of multi-platform games, independent gaming companies are businesses. Having a multi-platform game gives gaming companies more of an audience to sell their games to, leading to higher profitability. They don’t care about your “Praise MS” fanboyism–they’re out to sell as many games as possible. As long as you get an Xbox 360 copy of Halo 4 or any other game, what does it matter?

Yeah, I’m 98% sure this isn’t what they’re talking about- 343i is highly associated with Microsoft Studios, who wouldn’t allow this to happened.
