golds are capable of strafing too. Heres a funny observation ive had. golds are so bad that theyre so unpredictable that they actually surprise pro players the most. pros are too conditioned on predictability and communication and occasionallly die dumb deaths in mixed skill lobbies on their own.
Dude I’m just convinced you dont get it. You do realize fake gold accounts exist too right? I’ve had a lot of matches where it’s a team with 1 low gold player, 2 mid tier onyx players (1500- high 1600s) and usually 1 high daimond. That team lost, with the gold player out performing the entire team. Like suddenly the player just went esports mode to try and save the game but it was too late.
Anyone should be able to say they’ve had their matches of these booster teams here and there, and its immediately apparent that its not a gold skill player.
The point is that there’s a vast difference in skill bro…from raw skille like aiming, strafing, to everything else…but at the lower half, those players do not possess high raw skills. Theres nothing wrong with that at all. Im only making that point and driving it in because you just seem to not get it dude. Its like you’re saying “oh aw nah theres not THAT big of a difference at all bro.”
The entire reason i even went through all of this is because in the OP thats a HUGE exaggeration man. Plain as freakin day. You have to be stupid, or blind to not agree on that.
I don’t watch that guys videos. All i remember of favyn is him crying about halo all the time in his earlier videos. I heard he changed a lot for the better…but god was that guy annoying back then. Idk what skill level he is, but I’m right about what I said though. Who your matched with makes a world of a difference. You can’t just throw a blanket statement like that and act like the shoe fits all.
it wasnt favyns comment, just someone random. I largely dont agree with favyn either but yeah he did used to have some really crap takes that are a bit less crappy now but still manages some good ideas
The BR is easy to use in the sense of picking it up and shooting it, but consistently landing headshots, getting back-to-back kills, having perfect aim, Halo has and will always be about having skill.
This is why the KBM vs Controller debats are so stupid to me, because the person with the better game knowledge will win, not the person with the “better” peripheral. You take a cracked KBM who’s only played CSGO from the second they came out the womb, and a controller player who’s only played Halo, that controller player technically has the disadvantage because of controller, but they also have the advantage because they know the game.
DMR and Magnum are close to hitscan. H2 BR is also close to hitscan.
H3 is the only BR in the entire Halo series which has projectile travel time and lag which makes it pretty balanced imo because you can cross map with it if you are skilled, but at mid range it’s a pretty reliable execution weapon.
But that also means BR is kinda the main weapon everyone uses anyway.
Infinite’s counter part is the AR. If you feather, you could probably nail someone crossmap. If you are in mid to close, it’s a free kill.
i see your point however if me and a gold bloke
turned a corner at the same time you can bet 9 times out of 10 if it was with a BR or anything bar maybe the assault rifle i’d be able to out skill him with movement and win.
