I Fixed Halo Matchmaking

Here’s how it will work

Matchmaking
It will be split up into a Competitive, Sosial and Custom Game Matchmaking Playlists. The first two (Sosial and Competitive will have their own sub-playlits, these will be:

>Slayer
>Team Objective
>Free for All
>Multi-Team
>Classic
>MLG (Competitive only)
>Action Sack (Social only)
>Big Team (Sosial Only)

Competitive will have no Loadouts and no Armor Abilities while a few of the social gametypes will. (A good number still wont, there will still be gametypes like Slayer BRs and Slayer pro even in Sosial)

Custom Game Matchmaking will be new and will work simmilary to Battlefield 4’s server system

Weapon Ballancing and Loadouts

Ballancing changes:
>DMR aim assist removed

>Boltshot Charge time is halved and range is increaced greatly but charged dammage is greatly reduced, now reqiring 4 shots to kill instead of one.

>Dual Weilding Returns

>Plasma Repeater is now rebalanced to fit a role simmilar to the SAW

>Make the Incineration cannon so something original and interesting (like make it play dubstep)

I have only 2 things wrong with this list:

-No boltshot in the loadouts

-If there is no aim assist on the DMR then you can’t aim with it at all, it just needs a tiny bit just to aim.

Also feel free to discuss posible new weapons armor abilities and equptment as well a Custom game Settings.

First thank you for the feedback, but did you read my suggested reballance for the Boltshot? It would not be nearly as powerfull as what it is now. It would be 4 charged Headshots shots to kill instead of 1

Where would gametypes like dominion ricochet and flood go?

Secondly in my opinion i don’t feel it would be best to split the 2 (social and competitive) with such huge differences. For classic this would make sense. And MLG would only be in 5 if they picked it up. But for most playlists social and competitive settings should be nearly identical. What seperates those two should be rank not play style.

DMR needs aim assist. It would be easier to just say we tone down aim assist on a global scale.

Don’t like the change to the bolt shot. Should just not be in loadouts. The only secondary we should spawn with is a magnum.

Sorry I didn’t explain my reason for the boltshot. Even though the suggestion for the boltshot would further balance the gun. It would still feel to OP in my opinion and should and always remain as a map pick up.

So OP you want Halo 4 with a stronger Bolt shot and stronger plasma repeater…

DMR shouldn’t be a power weapon. Just because a bunch of Halo’s weapons are designed for the short game doesn’t mean it can’t be used off spawn.

What? No what I sugested would make the Boltshot a whole lot weaker, essentialy a really slow Battle rifle

Massively reduce the RRR then.

Actually, you can, you just need to get over the “learning” curve of learning how to be a more precise shooter with the controller. But it can be done.
