It’s so much easier to use than a magnum. I was playing SWAT to improve my aim, within a few games I was doing decent with the BR, after awhile of playing I’m still pretty -Yoink- with the magnum. BR is much easier.

Yup. Which is why magnum should stay the starting weapon. It still has a faster kill time than the BR if you land all 5 shot but it takes a lot more skill and concentration. It was a great choice to make the switch I think.

Give us an option. Keep Slayer and add a BR Slayer playlist. It’s an extremely simple fix that makes everyone happy.
I came to this conclusion since the Halo 3 days…
The BR is the easiest to use and is the only gun many can use because it is just a simple 3-burst head shot…
People just cant stand not getting kills with an AR, SMG or other weapons because it is just too difficult for them, oh how sad…
I laugh at BR extremists and proceed to out gun them with anything else just to make them salty…
ironically the “noob tactic” (hold forward spray and pray) is very effective in this halo against the average player with a precision weapon
i like the return to balanced starts to make map weapons more relevant

Which is how halo should not play. This is not call of duty… Stop supporting call of duty tactics

When I am tired and start missing shots with the magnum in arena, I grab the br. Problem solved. It’s def easier for me in arena.
Maybe for some people. But for many I’m guessing that it’s because they always used the BR in other Halo games. Not because it’s easier, but maybe because it’s familiar?
