Yes, you can find differences but my play experience so far has been eerily similar to Apex Legends with the sprinting, sliding around, and people coming at me from every direction and having people swinging from the walls.
Simply put, Infinite doesn’t play like a Halo game at this time. It feels much more slippery and the gameplay is much more chaotic than prior games. It doesn’t yet feel grounded. From having the guns sitting on the ground to now having them on the walls in little cabinets, having some annoying little guy talking to you constantly, chaotic spawning, etc. It’s missing the soul.
Some of you who were around from Halo CE - Halo 3 know what I’m talking about. There was a sense that you knew exactly how things would work out if you grabbed a certain weapon. Infinite seems almost like a slot machine. Some of you younger kids might like that I guess, but I think you guys will probably leave Infinite for whatever yearly COD comes out and never look back. Spawn, sprint, slide, get a kill, get killed while low by a guy who slid into the room after you, rinse repeat.
Anyone feeling the same way, that Infinite is like another series with a Halo Skin on it?
