I fell more than confident with Neil.

I love his sound. It give that sense of adventure and perseverance. I’ve listened to his past works from “Clash of the Titans” and “Push”. I feel very much excited for Halo 4’s music. I just find it to be beautiful so far. I spend most of my time listening to metal, but I can’t help but to be thrown into this world by music like this. What do you guys think?

Me too. I mean, I know it will be quite different from the others, and I’m great with that because as he said, the music needs to change with the story.

I’m just like you. Normally I’ll listen to nothing but Heavy Metal (Mostly Iron Maiden) but I’ve been playing Neil’s music all day. It’s amazing, and it’ll be even better when we’re hearing it when we’re playing the game.

His music blew me away… I didn’t think it would be that good but holy -Yoink-… I love it.

Haha! Yeah me too! This just makes me even more excited for Halo 4!

P.s. I LOVE Iron Maiden. But I am more of a Megadeth/ Metallica fan.

As do I! I listened to it once, then promptly downloaded the MP3 and put it on my iPod to listen to on the go. It’s just that amazing!

I’m also a big metal fan, but I’ve always been intrigued by orchestral music and the way it flows.

grabs a mop to wipe up the drool from listening to the soundtrack

You guys should listen to some massive attack, especially the song teardrop, Neil is one of the main producers and writer for them, there awesome.

I hate when people spell feel like “fell”. Unless you really mean fell?

OT: I agree.

I agree, I think Neil is a good person to take up the task of making Halo’s sound track, and like he said, he is a big Halo fan, and from the music I’ve heard so far for Halo, and some of his past works, I can’t wait until I download Halo 4’s sound track off of iTunes.
Every Halo game had music that matched it’s campaign like a glove, but Reach’s, but mostly because I think a some of the songs in the sound track was better than the campaign.
But if the music is as good as the campaign, the campaign will be epic.

Totally agree, it has a completely different sound, but the same feel that Halo has always had. But I do hope that the original Halo theme (or some variation of it) is in Halo 4.

Yeah if you want to hear some more Neil Davidge then listen to any Massive Attack albums. My favourite albums are Blue Lines, Mezzanine, Protection and 100th Window. Some of it is really moody stuff especially 100th Window.

Also if you want to hear a soundtrack that Neil Davidge already produced (under Massive Attack) then check out the Danny the Dog/Unleashed soundtrack. It is pretty damn intense, a real dense and beautiful soundtrack.

Really pleased to hear 343i got Neil Davidge on board, he just might be able to match and exceed Martys amazing work.

they’re lucky to have this guy, hez got skills…
